Role Description This hands-on course is designed for sales professionals ready to move beyond low-stakes AI use cases and apply AI to the parts of the sales cycle that matter most: prospecting, nurturing leads, crafting proposals, closing deals, and scaling the entire cycle with agentic workflows. It answers the key questions sales teams are asking today: - Where does AI provide the highest impact in the B2B sales funnel? - How can AI help find and reach the right accounts faster? - How can personalized outreach scale without sounding robotic? - How can agentic workflows handle repetitive deal-cycle tasks while preserving buyer trust? - How do I ensure content accuracy, data privacy, and ethical use of AI in sales? Qualifications - 7+ years of professional B2B or similar sales experience with hands-on ownership of processes across the sales funnel (prospecting, outreach, discovery, proposal, objection handling, or deal management). - Demonstrated experience applying AI tools within sales workflows, including generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT), AI-assisted sales platforms, or automation tools (e.g., Hunter, Zapier, Fireflies AI). - Ability to teach prompting techniques, responsible AI use, and content-generation best practices with clarity, nuance, and sales-specific examples. - Experience guiding learners through hands-on, scenario-based work, especially in Zoom-based environments where live walkthroughs, demos, and interactive activities are central. - Comfort working with sales data (prospect lists, CRM records, engagement signals) and using AI tools to enrich, score, and act on that data. - Familiarity with building AI-powered sales tools (AI projects, agentic workflows, prompt libraries), including writing instructions, loading reference files, and designing human review checkpoints. - A strong ethical foundation and commitment to responsible AI use, including data privacy, content accuracy, bias awareness, and human-in-the-loop practices appropriate for sales. - A growth mindset and deep curiosity about AI trends, staying current on evolving sales technologies, compliance considerations, and the future of AI in B2B sales. Requirements - Fully complete the course in advance, gaining hands-on experience with all tools, workflows, and assignments to provide expert-level support to learners throughout the program. - Help learners apply AI for Sales skills through hands-on projects, guided builds, and real-world use cases. - Support learners in troubleshooting, refining, and expanding on the course’s core exercises, demos, and activities by drawing from your own experience building them. - Inspire learners, build confidence, and foster a strong, practical, and responsible understanding of AI for Sales. - Drive engagement, retention, and learner success through active, thoughtful facilitation in a highly interactive, application-based learning environment. Benefits - Ready-made materials: Receive a full agenda, activity plan, and slide deck to customize—no need to build from scratch. - Training and onboarding: We'll make sure you're confident with the course tools and expectations. - Slack & Zoom support: Work alongside a Learner Success Advocate who handles chat moderation, session logistics and grading. Your Duties and Time Commitment - Live Sessions (1.5 - 2 hours/week): Facilitate weekly 2-hour Zoom sessions focused on project-based AI workflow learning. - Preparation (2 hours/week): Customize slide decks, review on-demand content and Playbooks, and prep for discussions. - Learner Communication (30 mins/week): Participate in course Slack to answer questions and provide guidance. - Debrief & Improvement (1 hour/term): Join course debriefs with Ziplines team members and instructional designers. - Total: 4 hours/week for 5 weeks. Instructor Qualifications - 7+ years of real-world B2B sales experience. - At least 2+ years of experience using AI, automation, and AI workflows in sales. - Deep understanding of business applications of AI across the B2B sales funnel (e.g., prospecting, outreach, nurture, proposal, objection handling, agentic workflows). - Skilled in tools such as: - ChatGPT Plus - Gamma (AI-powered pitch deck customization) - Fireflies AI (notetaking and call intelligence) - Hunter (lead generation and email verification) - HubSpot or comparable CRM - OpenAI Codex or comparable agentic workflow platform - Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts for a non-technical audience. - Adept at fostering engagement in Zoom-based, adult-learning environments. - Enthusiastic about mentorship and building learner confidence. - Highly organized, dependable, and proactive in session preparation. - Able to commit to a full 5-week course term. - Thrives in a collaborative, learner-first environment. About Ziplines Ziplines Education is a category-leading education company that partners with universities to deliver industry-focused certificate courses that prepare professionals for today’s digital-first workforce. Each year, we have the opportunity to help thousands of career advancers build the knowledge, skills, and credentials they need to move their careers forward. 92% of learners would recommend our programs, and our net promoter score is consistently in the excellent range. Together, we empower adult learners to confidently pursue the career they’ve always wanted. About the role Enrollment enablement is where hesitation turns into confidence — we uncover what’s holding a prospect back, address it with clarity and proof, and help them enroll in a program they can feel proud to complete. As the Senior Manager, Enrollment Enablement, you’ll lead the day-to-day operation that guides prospective learners through key moments in their enrollment journey — with speed, consistency, and a high bar for quality — and you’ll build the staffing and operating systems that allow that experience to scale. This is a hands-on people leadership role with real operational weight. You’ll lead a frontline team through complex cases and high-intent conversations, set clear performance and experience expectations, and partner cross-functionally (product, growth, operations) to improve the workflows, tools, and insights that increase assisted conversion and learner confidence. What you’ll do Lead the team and raise the bar - Lead, coach, and develop a junior, hourly, or part-time frontline team handling high-intent prospective learner conversations. - Set clear expectations for judgment, speed, accuracy, and experience, and coach to performance using consistent feedback loops. - Handle escalations, partner concerns, and complex cases, ensuring issues are resolved with accountability and care. - Build a culture of executional excellence and uncompromising experience standards — the work is fast, but it’s never sloppy. Build staffing discipline and operating rigor - Own forecasting, capacity planning, and utilization — building staffing models that match demand and protect service levels as volume grows. - Run day-to-day performance across coverage, responsiveness, and assisted conversion, adjusting staffing, workflows, and priorities in real time. - Create sustainable ways to track and report activities, costs, and impact so decisions get better over time. Drive outcomes with the right metrics - Define and own the core KPIs for enrollment enablement (conversion, yield, speed to convert) and use activity metrics as drivers. - Set activity expectations that support those KPIs, then coach reps based on what moves results. - Hold the team accountable for enrollment outcomes with a management approach that is direct, fair, and informed. Standardize the experience through systems and processes - Expand our current capabilities by designing repeatable systems that can scale with our business growth. - Build and enforce processes that ensure accuracy and consistency across every learner interaction. - Establish and evolve SLAs for speed, accuracy, quality, and learner experience, and lead team execution to deliver against them consistently. - Build standardized workflows and playbooks so great interactions are not dependent on individual expertise. - Implement and iterate on tools and processes that make quality repeatable and scalable. Be a cross-functional driver - Turn enrollment enablement interactions into actionable insights that inform messaging, journey improvements, and process optimization. - Partner with product and growth to align priorities, requirements, and execution plans that improve learner experience and assisted conversion. - Drive cross-functional follow-through on enrollment enablement priorities, owning your team’s impact end to end. Who you are - Outcome-oriented people leader: You’ve managed junior, hourly, or part-time teams and know how to coach through complex cases, deliver performance feedback, and hold a clear bar for results. - Operationally disciplined: You’ve collaborated with an executive to own forecasting, capacity planning, and utilization, and you can build staffing and operating systems that scale. - Execution-first with high standards: You deliver consistent, fast, high-quality experiences and don’t compromise on accuracy or learner trust. - Systems-minded builder: You naturally turn messy realities into repeatable workflows, playbooks, and tools that make the operation stronger over time. - Strong cross-functional partner: You bring business acumen, align partners around priorities, and drive execution to deliver measurable outcomes. - Comfortable owning the hard stuff: You handle escalations and partner concerns calmly, protect the learner experience, and strengthen the underlying system so it happens less over time. - Data-led operator: You use qualitative insight and metrics together, define the right KPIs, and make smart trade-offs under real constraints. Our core values: - Focus on outcomes — students come first, always. - Be trustworthy — deliver, be honest, have our backs. - Be humble — we’re in this together. - Be curious — continuous learning drives innovation. - Be you — diverse thinking creates opportunity. - You value and will contribute to a transparent, no B.S. culture. Perks and benefits at Ziplines Education (full-time employees): - Equity: Ownership is a core value, and each full-time employee can invest in Ziplines Education via a stock option (equity) grant, which will vest across four years. - Time off: We offer a flexible paid time off policy, in addition to 10 paid holidays. - Flexible, remote work environment: We are a fully distributed team with folks all over the U.S. We meet as a full team at least one time per week and have in-person gatherings or team off-sites one or more times per year. - Family health and wellness: Choose from a range of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans (premiums start at $0/month) for yourself or your family. - 401K: We know your future self will thank you when you start contributing to your company-sponsored 401k. Plus, we’d be happy to share additional benefits with you during the hiring process. The salary range for this role is $115K - $125K USD annually for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area (this is considered the Ziplines Education virtual home base). Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
