Field Service Engineer IV

• Perform Battery Cabinet (BC) installation, start-up and conditioning, commissioning, debug and testing, as required at client locations • Troubleshoot and failure analyze product issues via email, phone, or travel to customer sites • Work with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Production to promptly and efficiently resolve product issues and satisfy customer expectations and requirements • Generate, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department • Technical documentation of necessary processes and procedures • Provide exceptional technical service and support to internal and external customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction • Conduct training and refreshers on Battery Cabinet (BC) Systems to Service and Support personnel, customers, and 3rd party service providers • Travel as needed (up to 75%) within in the U.S. and internationally

• Drive and manage procurement process with collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines, budget, and on time delivery • Prepare purchase orders and maintains purchasing records • Research and evaluate potential suppliers to determine if they have a favorable price, quality, and speed of delivery • Provide support for inter-departmental and executive data request • Establish backup supply sources wherever feasible • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for favorable conditions • Ensure vendors meet the terms and conditions of their contract • Create RFQ’s, supplier agreements, shopping carts, purchase requests and POs as needed • Work to establish vendor account/credit and extended payment terms • Comply with corporate safety and business ethics guidelines • Manage material forecasting and budgeting • Identify and capitalize continuously cost savings opportunities • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, stay informed about market conditions, pricing trends and new products • Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop team members • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department • Draft, explain, and implement instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing • Other duties as determined and assigned
