Role Description The primary responsibilities of the Global Category Manager are to manage end-to-end procurement activities for the Packaging category and lead cross-functional supplier qualifications for their assigned category. The Category Manager is a process leader and portfolio manager and may also be a people leader responsible for strategic procurement effectiveness for a particular bundle of categories. - Lead procurement activities for multiple areas of spend within a portfolio achieving significant initial cost reductions followed by year over year productivity improvements resulting in lower total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving quality and service levels. - Work closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional organizations to develop and align effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. - Negotiate complex long-term agreements that protect Zimmer Biomet and deliver on company objectives. How You'll Create Impact - Implement category and supplier strategies to achieve challenging year-over-year cost reduction results through supplier collaboration and competition. - Assist with the development and execution of strategies through the strategic procurement process for a specific portfolio of spend areas. Lead strategic procurement efforts in specific category areas. - Serve as a primary champion and process leader for the strategic procurement process for each area of spend. - Prepare reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents of both a recurring and nonrecurring nature. Perform moderately complex analyses of data to draw inferences or conclusions to drive sound decisions. - Lead and coordinate projects including project development, communications, meetings, tracking, and reporting. Lead and execute on assigned projects with limited oversight. - Assist in selecting and managing suppliers. - Oversee the supplier selection and negotiation process for key procurement teams based on each category's procurement strategy. - Establish and maintain contractual and business relationships with the senior management of key suppliers. - Support in the resolution of major customer satisfaction and vendor performance issues. - Be active in the effort to achieve small and disadvantaged business procurement content objectives. - Measure and track internal performance within each spend category. - Drive annual productivity improvements in each spend category. - Develop an expertise in the portfolio spend categories. - Drive best practices. - Integration of procurement into core business processes. - Uphold internal and external policies, regulations, and laws. Your Background - Bachelor's Degree in related discipline required. Master's level education is desirable. - At least four years of procurement experience required with demonstrated success in managing Finished Goods contract manufacturers and Directed sub-tier suppliers. - Previous experience with assigned commodities required. - Experience in a regulated environment is preferred. - Specialized Procurement or related certification or training strongly preferred. - Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or training preferred. Travel Expectations - Must possess the ability to travel on a regular basis with overnight stays up to 20%. Occasional global travel may be required. Expected Compensation $115,000 - $145,000

Role Description The Systems Sr. Engineer will: - Identify the tasks in designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. - Create and extend Pega applications. - Manage rules and rulesets. - Leverage the Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) to promote rule reuse between case types and applications. - Configure roles, access groups, and privileges. - Manage data access within an application design for multiple device types and screen sizes, including mobile devices. - Manage integration settings. - Provide thought leadership to stakeholders and agile teams across the business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements. - Work in conjunction with technical product owners and Scrum Master to size and deliver solutions while managing scope and risk. - Lead Pega application deployment and upgrade, upgrade process & rule remediation. - Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI, and corporate standards, including reviewing alert logs. - Develop standards and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture/design/coding.
