HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Marketing Leadership & Budget Management - Lead annual and long-range Amazon marketing strategy, identifying growth levers, whitespace opportunities, and evolving Amazon capabilities - Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans that meet both customer and sales/brand objectives, leveraging insights and growth opportunities - Serve as the Amazon Advertising expert, with a focus on paid search and digital display to reach shoppers throughout their journey - Manage annual budgets for media (search/display) and coupons, recommending optimal allocation across tactics Marketing Leadership & Budget Management - Lead annual and long-range Amazon marketing strategy, identifying growth levers, whitespace opportunities, and evolving Amazon capabilities - Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans that meet both customer and sales/brand objectives, leveraging insights and growth opportunities - Serve as the Amazon Advertising expert, with a focus on paid search and digital display to reach shoppers throughout their journey - Manage annual budgets for media (search/display) and coupons, recommending optimal allocation across tactics - Build the marketing strategy, promotional plan, and investment mix to achieve key business goals - Translate media and promotional performance into clear business impact and actionable recommendations for leadership and sales partners Cross-Functional Partnership - Ensure all aspects of the marketing strategy are closely aligned with sales and account management (SKU priorities, supply chain updates, investment levels, and sales impact) Lead agency and vendor management, including briefing media agencies, evaluating strategy and creative, and communicating across key stakeholders - Partner with brand, advanced marketing capabilities, and account management teams on cross-functional JBP strategy, including national media investment in Amazon Ads - Integrate Amazon Ads strategy within broader omnichannel and retail media plans, ensuring alignment with national media and off-Amazon activation - Partner with the marketing analytics team to analyze media and coupon performance - Collaborate with digital shelf and account management teams on content optimization, SEO, ratings & reviews, and retail readiness opportunities Advertising and Coupon Optimization - Manage Amazon Vendor Powered Coupons (VPCs) and other self-service promotional activations (e.g., Best Deals) in partnership with the account lead - Improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness by reviewing performance and refining plans to achieve growth objectives - Leverage advertising, promotions, and content enhancements to improve organic rank and share of voice - Establish test-and-learn frameworks to validate incrementality and inform future investment decisions - Execute daily site merchandising across brand portfolio, including product setup, imagery, navigation, and onsite experiences. - Identify and resolve errors, inconsistencies, and merchandising bugs. - Maintain and evolve site navigation, search, and product discovery tools (filters, facets, cross-sell placements) to improve customer experience. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business, marketing, or a related field - Digital merchandising execution excellence, ensuring accurate and consistent onsite execution across product presentation, pricing, promotions, navigation, and discovery tools. - 5+ years of direct Amazon Ads management experience - Proficiency in Vendor Central or Seller Central, and Amazon Ads - Demonstrated experience managing and guiding agency teams - Experience planning and executing Amazon promotions and coordinating promotional calendars with sales and account management - Strong financial acumen, including budget management, ROI analysis, and investment optimization - Proven experience owning and optimizing Amazon marketing KPIs (e.g., iROAS, conversion rate, NTB, share of voice) - Highly organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights and recommended actions to leadership - Ability to synthesize and interpret data from multiple disparate sources into concise, action-oriented recommendations - Growth mindset with a passion for eCommerce PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Experience in CPG category and working across both Amazon.com and Amazon Fresh businesses a plus Salary Range: $143,600 - $179,500 Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Account analytics - Acts as the account’s go-to analytics resource, evaluating multiple data sources (e.g. Circana, Customer system data) and building analytical tools/ models around areas such as pricing and promotion. - Provides fact-based insights to help Identify key distribution, pricing and placement opportunities that can grow the business. - Accesses, analyzes, and interprets business indicators including shipments, consumption, shopper trends, inventory, pricing, key performance indicators (KPIs) as they pertain to categories/brands and their impact on the markets. - Tracks key performance metrics like Sales Growth and Share against key benchmarks, while keeping up with weekly, monthly and ad-hoc deliverables. - Relationship Management - Works closely with Account Executives, Sales Director and Category Management to review business trends and provide input on opportunities to improve share, profit and gross sales volume. - Support Kroger Sr. National Account Executive and WK Retail Teams- working closely with National Account Executive to provide promotional information for the Retail Team to execute.
