As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. Job Summary: The Quality Engineer will conduct automated and manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product releases meet or exceed quality standards. Duties include reviewing functional and technical requirements and conducting testing for issues, enhancements, and major releases. The Quality Engineer will participate in the creation and execution of test plans and automation tests. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll handle the following: - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback - Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases - Record and document results and compare to expected results - Identify, record, document, and track bugs - Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities - Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools such as Playwright or Cypress - Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-based frameworks - Leverage AI/ML-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage and efficiency - Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved - Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet user needs - Collaborate with internal teams (including developers, and product managers and designers) to identify system requirements and bring a quality focus to the team. - Contribute to the agile team to help with planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospective and other agile functions - Evaluate the output from AI/ML models and be able to define quality metrics around AI/ML output - Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role: Competencies: - Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman or equivalent REST testing frameworks - Familiarity with AI/ML testing tools and emerging QA technologies. - Experience designing and executing test strategies to evaluate AI/ML model behavior, including accuracy, robustness, bias, and output consistency - Experience or comfort with evolving requirements inherent in emerging technologies Education and Experience: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience - 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance - Experience working in agile/scrum development processes - Experience with performance and security testing a plus - AI/ML model testing is a plus Work Environment and Company Benefits: This is a virtual, full-time position. Job Summary: The People and Culture Specialist at WealthCounsel plays a crucial role in supporting the end to end employee journey in a people-centric, high performing work environment. This role supports the company through payroll processing, training, recruiting, and culture-building activities. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that requires attention to detail, creativity, and strong organizational skills. As a People & Culture Specialist, you’ll be responsible for: Payroll & People and Culture Administration - Manage the full payroll cycle: processing, data entry, reconciliation, reporting, and documentation with flawless accuracy - Maintain employee time, attendance, and paid time off (PTO) accrual records - Process all employee changes (new hires, terminations, salary, leaves) accurately in payroll and company systems and maintain confidential personnel records according to state law - Serve as the primary contact for inquiries regarding payroll, employment verifications, and benefits - Ensure compliance with federal and multi state employment laws including postings, notifications and recordkeeping requirements Culture & Engagement Champion: - Drive engaging company culture initiatives including employee retention and appreciation programs, company newsletter contributions, and team retreats - Oversee and deliver onboarding and continuous training programs - Provide administrative support for key People and Culture programs such as performance reviews, climate surveys, and professional development tracking - Stays current with new trends and collaborates with the VP of People and Culture to develop and implement new engagement initiatives and process improvements across all People & Culture offerings Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process which includes: - Post compelling job openings and generate applicant pipelines - Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate manager interviews - Finalize the hiring process with reference checks, and background/drug screens - Draft offer letters, and initiate the full digital onboarding workflow (DocuSign, Salesforce) - Coordinate onboarding tasks to ensure all new hires feel deeply engaged and connected Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience - Minimum of 3+ years of HR Generalist experience including full cycle recruiting and hands-on payroll processing experience - Experience working in a remote environment is preferred - Deep working knowledge of payroll best practices and federal/state regulations, including overtime laws. (Multi-state HR experience is a plus!) - Proven experience performing broad HR administrative duties - Strong analytical, interpersonal and technical skills - Exceptional accuracy, organization, record keeping and attention to detail - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with the highest level of discretion - Comfort and ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative virtual work environment - Some travel required Work Environment and Company Benefits: This is a virtual, full-time position.
