Role Description The Media Associate is a role responsible for helping ensure quality control on a variety of paid digital media campaigns and other deliverables. This role provides hands-on experience in campaign building, platform operations, analysis, and QA while building foundational skills for career growth in paid digital media. - Performing quality control checks to ensure campaigns are correctly configured to meet client KPIs and achieve strategic goals - Helping monitor existing campaigns for proper pacing and targeting - Providing support and contributing recommendations for improvements - Assisting in compiling reports tracking trends in digital media spend in key campaigns - Support Managers with troubleshooting and campaign adjustments - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - At least 1 year experience in managing, and trafficking digital media campaigns - Familiarity with DSPs, ad-serving platforms, or social ad platforms a plus - Obsessive attention to detail and exceptional organization and project management skills - Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and can unfailingly meet tight deadlines with minimal errors - Experience using Google Sheets/Excel or other data tools - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrates initiative, works collaboratively, and willingly contributes to the team - Passionate about Democratic politics and progressive issues Requirements - Location: Flexible, remote with a strong preference for a candidate based on the East Coast - Employee status: Full-time, exempt - Minimum salary expectation: $65K, dependent on relevant experience Benefits - Health care: 100% employer-paid; includes vision and dental Company Description Wavelength Strategy is a boutique digital firm dedicated to elevating digital persuasion and paid media strategy for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations. • Working closely with partners, data and media strategists to develop thoughtful and data-informed digital media plans that align with clients’ goals, whether persuasion, mobilization, or awareness • Running the buying pipeline to ensure trains are always moving, from client onboarding and verification processes, to finalized creative delivery and campaign set up, Q/A, and launch • Managing the successful execution of paid media campaigns across social, search, programmatic, and other digital ad platforms • Building and maintaining relationships with ad vendors and relevant publishers to ensure our media plans are thoughtfully constructed and tactfully executed • Overseeing ongoing performance and optimization of live campaigns, managing quality control and media budgets, overseeing regular reporting to track results against our clients’ goals, as well as developing processes to manage campaign monitoring and execution • Working with the rest of the ads team and firm’s partners to advise and support on targeting and testing strategies to improve our media approach and process
