• Analyse product requirements and translate them into automated test cases and strategies. • Design, build, and maintain automated test cases for AI-Based API and UI automation testing. • Adopt and implement contract-based API testing approaches across services and integrations. • Review and improve existing test frameworks, tooling, CI/CD process, and automation architecture. • Define and implement Standard QA processes and best practices within engineering teams. • Work closely with developers to create shared ownership of software quality. • Collaborate with teams to validate user journeys and client-facing workflows. • Coach and guide teams on test automation and quality practices. • Take responsibility for testing outcomes and quality results within the team. • Build and maintain custom testing tools to support development teams.
• Lead technical pre-sales engagements — partner with Sales and Product to architect high-impact solutions that align with client goals, data realities, and Wand’s differentiators • Design and deliver lightweight, believable prototypes that prove Wand’s unique capabilities — from legal document parsing to agentic workflow automation • Own the “Proof-to-Contract” motion — help clients define what must be proven technically (accuracy, scalability, adaptability) to justify commercial commitment • Act as a consultative discovery partner — uncover what customers really need, not just what they ask for • Build reusable demo systems and technical frameworks that make it faster for the next SE to spin up an environment, run a workflow, or connect a customer dataset • Contribute Python scripts, API workflows, and reference architectures that showcase best practices for integrating Wand into client ecosystems • Mentor and scale a small, high-performing team of Sales Engineers — establishing standards for demo quality, engagement discipline, and technical storytelling • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to channel field feedback into roadmap priorities and product enablement • Develop and document playbooks — building the foundation for a repeatable SE function • Represent Wand externally — lead workshops, client sessions, and conference demos that position Wand as the most capable, credible applied AI partner in the market.
• Design and build scalable search and retrieval systems combining lexical and semantic approaches. • Develop and maintain connectors to enterprise data sources (SaaS platforms, data warehouses, document stores, APIs). • Build data pipelines that ingest, transform, and index customer data for use by AI agents. • Integrate with LLM providers and related frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) to deliver context-aware agent capabilities. • Pull and process analytics data from customers' warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.). • Own projects end-to-end: from architecture and technical design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. • Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate retrieval quality into measurable agent performance improvements. • Optimize retrieval pipelines for latency, relevance, and cost efficiency at scale. • Uphold a culture of high efficiency, creativity, and quality.
• Own the front-end architecture end to end for a greenfield product: assess what's been built so far, decide what to keep and what to rethink, then build it. • Design and build the UI for a customer-facing product, bringing real product and UX sense, not just technical execution. • Build and maintain the front-end (we lean TypeScript, but we care far more about your track record than an exact stack match). • Contribute to the backend as needed: understand databases, data structures, and overall system design well enough to build and reason about APIs (Node.js or Go, technology agnostic). • Take true end-to-end ownership: propose the approach, defend it, then build it, without waiting for someone else to set the direction. • Build inside a fully AI-driven workflow, using tools like Claude Code as a core part of how you ship, not an occasional assist. • Operate comfortably in a small, fast moving, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and you're often defining the "how," not just executing a pre-set plan.
