Staff Product Engineer – API Platform

Member Support Specialist – Bilingual Spanish/English

• Own the member experience from first contact to resolution across phone, email, chat, and SMS • Resolve member questions related to appointments, prescriptions, lab work, ICHRA/HRA benefits, and plan details • Triage and prioritize member needs in real time — handle high-impact issues with urgency and sound judgment • Identify when members need services outside Vitable's scope and connect them to the right external resources • Conduct proactive outreach to educate members and drive activation and engagement • Identify workflow gaps and partner with leadership to improve processes and tooling
• Ensure that all self-funded health plans administered by the Company comply with applicable federal and state regulations, including but not limited to ERISA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), HIPAA, COBRA, and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) — including maintaining the required NQTL comparative analysis documentation. • Manage and execute regulatory filings on behalf of customers and plan sponsors, including Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), Form 5500 filings, PCORI fee filings, plan documents, and other state and federal filings required in connection with TPA operations. • Review and approve all customer-facing marketing, sales, and enrollment materials to ensure regulatory compliance prior to publication or distribution. • Act as the primary compliance liaison with TPA partners, PBMs, stop-loss carriers, fully insured carriers, and other third-party vendors. Ensure that vendor contracts, data handling practices, and operational processes meet applicable compliance standards, including PBM data reporting obligations (e.g., RxDC) and TPA state licensure/registration requirements. • Monitor developments in federal and state health plan regulation, including guidance issued by state Departments of Insurance and the Department of Labor, and translate regulatory changes into operational requirements across the organization. • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, audits, and customer due-diligence requests. Maintain documentation and internal controls sufficient to withstand regulatory examination and investor or acquirer due diligence. • Develop, implement, and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures. Provide compliance training to personnel involved in plan administration, sales, and customer data handling. Serve as the Company's designated HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer.

Role Description We're hiring a Credentialing Specialist to own provider credentialing end-to-end at Vitable. This is a dedicated, standalone function — not a secondary responsibility attached to another role. You'll be the internal expert and system owner for all things credentialing, ensuring our providers are verified, compliant, and activated without disruption. This role exists because we've reached a scale where credentialing demands dedicated ownership. You'll build the systems, own the database, and be the first line of defense on compliance — so the rest of the clinical ops team can focus on capacity planning, scheduling, and member access.
