• Design and build backend-heavy platform features for our platform • Productionalise AI-enabled capabilities (e.g. anomaly detection, recommendations, agent-based workflows) • Implement AI thoughtfully across the entire SDLC - prototyping, testing, iteration, and deployment • Design and build distributed data pipelines that process cloud billing, usage, and AI telemetry • Build reliable systems that handle backfills, late-arriving data, and historical reprocessing • Design scalable data models and APIs that power customer-facing analytics and AI cost insights • Collaborate closely with Product to turn vision into shipped features • Identify blockers early, communicate clearly, and iterate fast • Help shape engineering standards and patterns as the product matures • Build AI features with explicit evaluation criteria, feedback loops, and guardrails (accuracy, latency, cost, and explainability) so models improve predictably over time

• Own capacity management and forecasting processes across complex technical environments • Drive continuous improvements to planning, documentation, and operational workflows • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities before they impact delivery • Develop scalable processes that improve operational efficiency • Ensure capacity planning aligns with business priorities and technical requirements • Lead end-to-end technical initiatives across multiple teams • Coordinate engineering efforts to deliver complex programs successfully • Drive execution while balancing competing priorities • Track program health, risks, dependencies, and milestones • Build trusted relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery • Identify opportunities to expand engagement and create additional client value • Work closely with engineering teams on technical planning and execution

• Pick up infrastructure change requests from engineering teams • Work the team’s PR review queue • Handle operational fixes and remediations in non-production environments • Triage and respond to Datadog alerts • Support common AWS request patterns • Participate fully in the team’s scrum • Document what you fix; leave runbooks behind

• Conducting technical interviews with pre-screened candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and experience based on the requirements of the roles at Virtasant’s clients. • Collaborating with other members of the recruitment team for building job pipelines and identifying the most effective methods for screening candidates. • Participating in in-take calls with Virtasant’s clients for reviewing job descriptions, and discussing and understanding the key technical requirements of the roles. • Leading technical conversations with the client if required. • Developing interview questions and/or technical challenges to assess candidates' experience according to the requirements. • Conducting research to find and develop the right assessment for specific roles.

• Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across large enterprise environments • Identify waste, inefficiencies, and architectural opportunities for improvement • Design governance frameworks that sustain long-term cloud efficiency • Analyze cloud usage patterns and spending trends • Partner with engineering teams to implement optimization recommendations • Work with cloud cost and usage data at scale • Design and optimize reporting, analytics, and decision-support systems • Build insights that drive cost optimization decisions • Collaborate with customers on cloud financial visibility initiatives • Lead discovery sessions and optimization reviews • Present recommendations to technical and business audiences • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers • Guide engineering and data teams • Establish best practices around cloud efficiency • Mentor team members • Drive architecture decisions that improve both technical and financial outcomes

• Assess and harden Google Workspace security configurations, including MFA enforcement, administrator privilege reviews, security policies, sharing controls, audit logging, and third-party OAuth/application access. • Conduct identity and access governance reviews, including user/group/admin access validation, privileged access reviews, MFA coverage assessments, OAuth/SSO application inventory reviews, and joiner/mover/leaver process evaluations. • Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including remediation plans, governance procedures, exception registers, evidence packages, quarterly access review templates, and executive-ready reports. • Build and analyze endpoint inventories and assess security controls such as device encryption, patch management, local administrator rights, screen-lock policies, device enrollment, and offboarding/wipe procedures. • Provide decision support and recommendations regarding endpoint management and security solutions, including Google Endpoint Management, Microsoft Intune, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and MSP/MSSP-managed models (decision support only; no tooling implementation required). • Collaborate with project stakeholders while adhering to established documentation standards, confidentiality requirements, and quality review processes.

• Jump in quickly to troubleshoot and resolve production issues (including SSO/integration challenges) • Burn down hypercare defects and stabilize the platform • Lead hands-on development across Service Cloud (not just design/architecture) • Improve technical quality, scalability, and maintainability • Work on core Service Cloud capabilities like case lifecycle, SLAs, Omni-Channel, chat, and notifications • Support portal development (front-end + back-end) and broader integrations (e.g., SAP, Cloudflare/WAF)

• Support facilitators to create a successful learning experience for participants • Manage the technical delivery of live remote events (via video conferencing tools) by providing technical guidance and instruction • Track time and deploy activities such as helping participants use interactive tools, set up break-out rooms, polls, and screen shares within the virtual delivery platform

• Lead complex product work such as payment flows with Stripe, robust form validation • Build cross-platform features that share logic across React (web) and React Native 0.81/Expo 54 (iOS/Android) • Evolve our design system (100+ components) • Deliver data-heavy interfaces using TanStack Query and React Table • Partner with design and product to clarify requirements
