Role Description This role is responsible for the P&L for the Rare Disease Business Unit and for driving profitable growth with Upsher-Smith’s rare disease brands. Qualifications - Ideal candidate will have previous VP level experience leading a commercial team in Pediatric Neurology Rare Diseases. - Expected to have extremely strong commercial leadership experience in multiple commercial functions: marketing, sales, patient access and market access experience, combined with the ability to succeed at a strategic, tactical and operational level. - Bring outstanding internal and external communication skills, leadership and a pro-active approach. - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. - Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred with a minimum of 15 years of commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry. - Experience in rare and orphan disease therapies is required. Prefer experience in pediatric neurology, including epilepsy. - Substantial rare disease experience who can provide leadership, direction and vision with the aptitude to drive commercial growth and excellence. Role Description This position will have responsibility for maximizing profitability for all existing commercialized products within the USL portfolio. The Sr. Director will partner with Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to identify and implement pricing and market penetration strategies that grow revenue and margins.
