Title: Behavioral Health Clinician Location: Norwich United States Job Type Full-time Description UCFS strives to use person-centered care to improve the health and well-being of everyone in our community. We are currently seeking a Clinician to provide clinical services for individuals, children and families, couples or groups of all ages regarding behavioral, substance abuse, psychiatric or emotional issues through the development and implementation of clinical assessments, treatment plans and discharge plans. Expected Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday Essential Responsibilities: - Provide clinical assessment and treatment client centered care consistent with quality standards of care including evidence based practices that result in improved health outcomes for clients. - Assess level of risk and appropriate level of care with routine and emergency clients of all ages who may present in crisis with complex and long term mental health and/or substance abuse issues. - Provide on-call support on site during hours of operation for connected and non-connected clients. Includes, but is not exclusive to: arranging for referrals to other levels of care or emergency response, reporting suspected child abuse/neglect to DCF, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines for standards of care. - Participate in clinical supervision, and maintain open lines of communication with supervisor and support staff, and coordinate treatment with psychiatrists; work actively toward obtaining professional licensure - Coordinate services with relevant providers involved in a given case within and outside of UCFS (e.g. school personnel, Department of Children and Families, courts, etc.) and support continued collaboration with other providers. We are currently seeking a Grants Accountant to provide ongoing accounting and management of grants budgets, expenditures, revenues and financial reporting. Required to live in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Connecticut for occasional on-site visits to Norwich, CT. Expcted Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Essential Responsibilities: - Assists in managing the financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance and preparing financial reports. - Maintain grant budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures and adherence to grant guidelines, identify potential overruns or under-expenditures and communicate this information to the Director of Grants and Contracts and/or Program Managers, in a timely manner. - Ensures reports are accurate and expenses are coded to the correct grant/contract, documentation is adequate, and all fiscal and grant guidelines are met. Notifies the Director of Grants and Contracts or Fiscal leadership of any unusual purchases and/or concerns. - Collaborate with the Director of Grants and Contracts to conduct monthly budget reviews, projections, and goal setting to ensure appropriate and timely expenditure of grant funds. - Performs grant reconciliations and closeout functions in a timely manner. - Prepares all adjusting journal entries for inputting into the computerized general ledger program, assuring that all data is recorded accurately. - Act as financial liaison for all subcontractors on assigned grants and contracts.
