Role Description Tygart Technology is seeking a Software Developer with a current secret security clearance. This is a remote opportunity supporting a DOJ customer based in Clarksburg, WV. - Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. - Develops microservices in a cloud native environment. - Operates an enterprise scale production system. - Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves system issues. - Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. - Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. - Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. High-level objectives include, but are not limited to the following: - Migrate all current-system functionality from the mainframes and operate within a cloud-based environment (AWS GovCloud). - Transition investigative search to Elasticsearch, providing a faster response and report creation time for law enforcement. - Build new services to follow a microservices architecture and run within containers using the OpenShift platform. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience or Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience. - Active Tier 3 Secret clearance. - Experience working within Agile Framework. - Proficient with Java Object-Oriented Programming. - Experience with Kubernetes and containers; automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. - Experience with Cloud-native architectures. - Experience with event-driven architectures. - Experience with two or more of the following: - Apache Kafka Pub/Sub (Publish, subscribe) - Streaming - Event sources - Running GitOps (GitLab, Git, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Tecton, etc.) within version control tools. - Familiarity with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for version control management. Role Description Tygart is seeking an Informatica Administrator to support a federal agency in Washington, DC. This role requires expertise to patch and upgrade the agency’s Informatica servers and maintain, modify and create new mappings. A Public Trust clearance will be required. This is a remote position; however, travel to Washington, DC will be required. Part-time opportunities are also available. - Serve as the agency Point of Contact (POC) for all matters involving the Informatica platform - Administer and maintain Informatica PowerCenter environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability - Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance data processing efficiency - Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to design and implement data integration solutions - Manage user access and security settings within Informatica, ensuring compliance with agency policies - Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability of ETL processes - Provide technical support and training to team members on Informatica best practices and functionalities - Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference - Stay updated with the latest Informatica features and industry trends to recommend improvements Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution - Must have both Informatica development and Admin experience - The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica Administration, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing ETL processes - Over 7-10 years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development with Informatica - 5+ years of hands-on experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes - Experience patching Informatica servers, and performing version upgrades - Experience working with complex SQL - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Informatica workflows - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools - Certifications in Informatica or related technologies Benefits - Competitive compensation - Benefits - Opportunity to grow your career while supporting impactful work Company Description Tygart Technology, Inc. is a premier professional services and software development organization providing a broad range of Information Technology (IT) services to public and commercial sector customers.
