Role Description TrapWire is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to help design and refine the user experience across our SaaS web platforms and mobile applications. This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering, working closely with our product and development teams to translate ideas into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with practical front-end knowledge, enabling them to produce wireframes, mockups, and UX guidance that can be efficiently implemented by engineers. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our applications deliver a modern, seamless, and highly usable experience for users across multiple platforms. - Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing features across web and mobile applications. - Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into intuitive interface designs. - Provide UX guidance and feedback during implementation to ensure final products match design intent and maintain usability standards. - Develop and maintain consistent design patterns and UI standards across the TrapWire platform. - Apply modern UX principles and best practices to improve workflow efficiency and usability. - Review existing UI implementations and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and accessibility. - Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and design reviews as needed. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design or UI engineering for web and mobile applications. - Demonstrated experience creating: - Wireframes - Prototypes - High-fidelity UI mockups - Strong understanding of modern UX principles and usability best practices. - Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end layout concepts. - Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams to translate designs into working applications. - Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop. - Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders. Requirements - Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Illustrator or other design tools. - Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment. - Familiarity with modern design systems and component-based UI frameworks. - Experience with interactive prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
