• Design, develop, and maintain the core backend architecture, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. • Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to build seamless and integrated backend solutions that align with product requirements and user needs. • Monitor and improve the backend system’s reliability, performance, and security, implementing solutions to handle high-volume requests and ensure smooth operation. • Oversee database architecture and optimize queries, ensuring data integrity and performance while managing storage and scalability challenges. • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code, promoting a culture of excellence in backend development. • Evaluate and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the backend infrastructure and improve development efficiency.

• High-Volume Outbound Outreach: Execute consistent daily cold-calling and highly targeted email sequences to connect with enterprise decision-makers. • Upstream Prospecting: Identify, map, and engage key stakeholder accounts generating $5M–$50M in platform revenue. • Value Proposition: Introduce platforms to our modern commerce solutions, emphasizing customizable, headless-style capabilities designed to solve scaling bottlenecks. • Pipeline Creation: Own the top of the funnel, converting cold prospects into qualified discovery meetings for our commercial leadership team. • Feedback Loop: Partner directly with executive leadership to share real-time market feedback and help refine our enterprise go-to-market strategy.

• Own and execute the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for ThriveCart’s payments ecosystem (e.g., checkout, payment gateways, transaction routing, fraud, refunds, treasury, and reconciliation). • Define, prioritize, and deliver features that improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and support global scalability. • Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality user experiences and robust back-end systems. • Integrate and maintain third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net) and explore new options (e.g., local payment methods, wallets, and bank debits). • Ensure all payment solutions meet regulatory requirements (PCI, PSD2, SCA, etc.). • Monitor performance, adoption, and reliability of payment systems using data and user feedback. • Collaborate with customer success and support to identify and resolve user pain points related to payments. • Stay informed about global payment trends, technologies, and fintech regulations, and bring ideas forward that align with ThriveCart’s growth.
