Physical Therapist

Role Description This is a part-time, Virtual role as a Physical Therapist (PT) serving a school located in WY. - Provide therapy services to students - Conduct assessments - Develop IEP plans - Evaluate progress - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents) The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs. Qualifications - Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university - Must have state License as Physical Therapist in CO or WY - Must have virtual school PT experience (2+ years as a virtual school based PT) - National License: APTA (Preferred) - Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required - Experience working with children - Identify children with deviations in physical, developmental, gross/perceptual and functional motor areas that may affect their educational program and provide direct service as appropriate - Guide therapy in determining appropriate goals, selecting treatment methods, and measuring effectiveness of intervention - Use observation, standardized and non-standardized techniques as tools - Strong foundation in planning and implementing treatment, exercises, manual therapy within developmental therapeutic models to support students within the school setting - Organizational and time management skills - Proficient in use of technology - Fingerprint background clearance - Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications Requirements - Part-time (2-5 hours/week) - 2026-2027 School year, August - May - K – 8 grades - Mountain time - Must have a state license WY, prior to August (Includes: Application, verification, background check, fingerprints and state law test) - Must have virtual school PT experience (2+ years as a virtual school based PT) - Job duties: direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, case management, supervision of a PTA - Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time - Virtual - Dual support from the District and TheraPeds - Manageable caseloads - $60 – $65/hour Benefits - Competitive compensation package with benefits including health, dental, and vision and 401K (W2) - Resources for health benefit enrollment and hourly rates which includes a stipend for health benefits and taxes (1099) - Opportunities for professional development and continuing education - Access to a supportive network within the TheraPeds community - Guaranteed hours - Bi-monthly salary deposits - This position will be a W-2 employee or a 1099 contractor
School Nurse RN

Role Description This is a part-time, Virtual role as a School Nurse serving a school located in Colorado. The Virtual School Nurse will provide remote health consultation and oversight to ensure the safety and well-being of students in a virtual learning environment. This role focuses on compliance with Colorado state regulations and supporting the medical needs of students through tele-health and administrative coordination. - Part-time, 5-12 hours/month - 2026-2027 School year, August - May/June - PreK – 12 grades - Review and maintain student Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs) - Provide virtual consultation to staff and parents regarding student medical needs and accommodations - Ensure the program remains compliant with Colorado state health mandates and reporting - Participate in virtual IEP or 504 meetings as the medical subject matter expert when required - Guaranteed Hours: including documentation, administrative and planning time - Virtual - Manageable caseloads - Dual support from the District and TheraPeds - $55 – $65+/hour ($385-$455+/week) Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in virtual school nursing or school-based health services - Must hold an active license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) as a School Nurse - Can start with a multi-state license, but must obtain a Colorado RN license within 60 days - Proficiency in Colorado educational laws (including IDEA and Section 504) and current medical standards for student care - Comfortable using secure tele-health platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems - Experience working with children - Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required - Organizational and time management skills - Fingerprint background clearance - Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications Physical Requirements Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
