• Design and execute global HR strategy aligned with mission and organizational priorities • Serve as the senior HR advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on people-related risks, opportunities, and organizational effectiveness • Oversee all HR operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and applicable international employment laws across globally distributed workforce • Maintain and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and personnel recordkeeping to ensure consistency, audit readiness, and alignment with both U.S. and global requirements • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning • Supervise employee engagement, recognition, and team-building initiatives that reinforce organizational culture and values • Manage, optimize, and negotiate benefits portfolio and compensation in collaboration with industry partners • Structure, lead, and manage a high functioning HR team; builds organizational capacity through strong leadership, clear accountability, and continuous development of people and processes • Foster a culture of reliability, attention to detail, and continuous improvement within the HR function • Architect and implement performance management systems and leadership development • Establish and uphold high standards for accuracy, consistency, and accountability across all HR functions • Optimize HR Systems (Modern HRIS, Training platforms, etc.) to improve reporting, data integrity, and operational capability • Lead the assessment and advancement of organizational health by integrating insights from diverse data sources to drive employee satisfaction, strengthen retention, and drive the mission of the organization
• Develop short and long-term regional communication strategies that align with and build upon the objectives and goals of The Max Foundation’s global communications strategy. • Establish and maintain relationships with key local journalists covering the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. • Writing press releases, talking points, and Q&A documents; crafting compelling narratives and positioning the Country head and colleagues as subject matter experts • Collaborate with the global communications team to create engaging and impactful content across multiple communications channels. • Provide support during site visits, write patient and physician stories for Max Insider, and capture cell phone photos and video clips while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. • Collaborate with the Country head and the global communications team to develop a communications and engagement strategy to strengthen relationships and elevate the awareness and reputation of Max at the country level and across the region. • Engage with key external audiences including partner physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals; hospital administrators and key staff; and key positions within local ministry of health. • Identify and manage external vendors, such as professional photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and printing services, to support implementation of communications strategies.
• Creates and directs implementation of communications initiatives that successfully define and promote the foundation and its mission. • Leads and coordinates internal and external resources to implement communications initiatives. • Manages freelance/agency resources and/or writes newsletters, brochures, press releases, and other communications and media materials items. • Oversees the foundation website and social media strategy including audience targeting, content strategy, and search engine optimization. • Engages with media, external partners, physician experts and other important stakeholders to educate, influence and drive interest in the organization’s mission. • Performs complex and strategically critical assignments in their functional area such as issue management guidance and communications counsel for leadership. • Makes decisions that impact the organization at large, consults with executives on all high risk/ high impact decisions. • Works with key decision makers on issues that shape broad design matter and future process improvements. • Collaborates with team-members across the organization to deeply understand organizational operations and shares expertise to shape broad design matters and future process improvements. • Contributes to strategic changes with organization-wide impact, recognized internally as a leading expert in their field. • Owns the budget planning process for the Communications functional area. • Manages entry and mid-level team members, and oversees the work of consultants. • Builds influential relationships with The Max Foundation partners and has built a network of people in peer organizations.
• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting for non-profit entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements • Establish and maintain internal controls and safeguards for financial transactions • Coordinate all financial audit activities • Prepare internal financial statements, business activity reports, and financial position forecasts • Manage all tax compliance requirements, including state and federal registrations, tax filings and tax reporting • Advises senior leadership on organization's financial position and processes, along with issues and developments in accounting • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, establishing financial and administrative systems to support the organization’s operations • Communicate effectively with staff throughout the organization, leading the department to promote a positive, supportive and customer oriented environment • Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, and current GAAP accounting standards
