Role Description - Underwrite NQM Underwriting - Proactively manage a pipeline of loans with a sense of ownership, including daily condition reviews - Review all mortgage related documentation for accuracy and completeness and meet TLS guidelines - Review to ensure investor requirements are met - Request missing documentation necessary to complete the underwriting decision prescriptively and concisely - Accurately perform compliance reviews and escalations as necessary - Provide excellent customer service through friendly, professional and responsive communication with both internal and external customers - Maintain excellent credit quality and daily production standards Qualifications - 2-5 years of Non QM mortgage underwriting experience required - Encompass knowledge preferred - High school diploma or GED required. BA or BS highly desired. - Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as DU and LPA - Self-starter with strong work ethics and professionalism - Team-player and able to work autonomously to meet critical deadlines Company Description

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. - Proven experience in underwriting or a similar risk assessment role within the insurance industry. - Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements in the United States. - Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in using underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements - Professional underwriting certification such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU). - Experience with data analytics tools and techniques to enhance risk assessment accuracy. - Knowledge of emerging insurance technologies and digital underwriting platforms. - Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
