Role Description Terzo processes some of the most sensitive commercial data in the enterprise world for Fortune 500 customers who expect enterprise-grade security as a baseline. Keeping that trust means our internal security posture has to be as strong as our product security. You will own Terzo's internal IT and security infrastructure including: - Endpoint management - Identity and access - Network security - The security tooling stack that protects our people, devices, and systems This includes managing and evolving tools like: - Defender - Jamf - 1Password - Twingate - Entra ID - Sentinel As the role matures, you will grow into owning compliance operations, e.g., audit readiness, evidence generation, and continuous monitoring, becoming the person who bridges IT, security, and compliance into a single discipline. Role Description Terzo's platform processes enterprise-scale document corpora, powers real-time AI agents, and serves the Financial Intelligence Graph to Fortune 500 customers who expect production-grade reliability. You will own the infrastructure that makes this possible including our cloud environments, data pipelines, compute orchestration, observability, and deployment systems. You will build and operate the foundational infrastructure that every product team at Terzo ships on top of. This includes: - Cloud infrastructure on Azure - Data pipeline orchestration (Ray, Service Bus, CDC) - CI/CD and deployment automation - Observability and incident response - Operational practices that keep the platform reliable as it scales You are the person who ensures the rest of engineering can move fast without things breaking. Role Description Most compliance engineers gather requirements and hand them to engineering. This is not that role. Terzo processes some of the most sensitive commercial data in the enterprise world including contracts, financials, vendor relationships, legal obligations for Fortune 500 customers who expect SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, and GDPR compliance as table stakes. As the platform scales and our AI systems operate with increasing autonomy, compliance can't be a gate that sits outside engineering. It has to be built into the infrastructure by someone who can build infrastructure. You will interpret and implement regulatory frameworks by writing code, building automation, configuring cloud security controls, and standing up continuous monitoring systems. Half your time is building. Half your time is managing compliance operations. This is a builder-first role. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience spanning both software engineering and compliance/security where you've written production code and navigated regulatory frameworks. - Deep understanding of enterprise compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, GDPR, NIST 800-53) and how they translate into engineering controls. - Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages, with experience building automation for compliance workflows. - Hands-on experience with cloud security configuration and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Azure Policy, AWS Config, or similar). - Comfort interpreting ambiguous regulatory requirements and making pragmatic engineering decisions about how to implement them. - Understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems well enough to assess where compliance gaps live. - Clear communication that bridges security, engineering, and business stakeholders where you can explain a control to an auditor and implement it the same day. - High ownership mentality - you don't file tickets for compliance gaps, you close them. Requirements - Prior work in a hybrid engineering/compliance role where you both defined and implemented security controls. - Experience building compliance automation at scale including continuous monitoring, automated evidence generation, policy-as-code. - Background with CMMC Level 2 certification processes or FedRAMP authorization. - Experience securing AI/ML systems or data platforms where model access, data lineage, and processing boundaries carry compliance implications. - Familiarity with Azure security architecture (Azure Policy, Defender, Key Vault, Entra ID). - Prior work at a high-growth startup where you built the compliance program from the ground up, not just maintained one. - Experience working directly with enterprise customers on security reviews, vendor assessments, and audit responses.

Role Description As a Data Scientist on our Applied Research team, you will build the intelligent systems that create the data our customers depend on. You will: - Design extraction and classification models that process enterprise-scale document corpora. - Build and evolve the entity resolution and signal detection layers powering the Commercial Graph and Financial Graph. - Define how AI capabilities surface as recommendations, agents, and search across the platform. - Own the models, pipelines, and graph structures that are the product. - Work directly with engineering, product, and customers on problems where a single clause can represent tens of millions of dollars of exposure. - Ensure model accuracy has a contractual SLA. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or AI research with production-shipped systems, not just notebooks and prototypes. - Strong statistical foundations and the ability to define and evaluate success metrics for AI systems including precision, recall, coverage, latency, not just accuracy. - Deep experience building NLP, NLU, or document understanding models that operate on messy, real-world unstructured data at scale. - Strong intuition for entity resolution, knowledge graph construction, or graph-based modeling. - Hands-on proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks, with experience deploying models into production pipelines. - Comfort with information extraction, classification, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns applied to real enterprise workloads. - A track record of working cross-functionally with engineering and product to shape what gets built. - Clear, structured communication skills. - High ownership mentality regarding model quality, pipeline reliability, and customer outcomes. Requirements - Experience building or evolving knowledge graphs, commercial ontologies, or financial data models in enterprise contexts. - Prior work on document AI, OCR pipelines, or hybrid extraction systems combining rule-based and learned approaches. - Exposure to AI agent architectures, tool-use patterns, or autonomous reasoning systems in production. - Background in procurement, contract management, spend analytics, or financial operations domains. - Experience with evaluation frameworks for AI systems (RAGAS, custom eval harnesses, human-in-the-loop QA pipelines). - Familiarity with distributed data platforms, event-driven architectures, or streaming systems (Ray, Kafka, Azure Service Bus). - Prior work at a high-growth startup or enterprise AI company. - An MS or PhD in a quantitative field. • Architect, design and implement foundational solutions for Terzo AI enterprise platform • Develop a new design system and component library, likely using React and a modern UI framework • Create AI-first user experiences across analytics, workflows, AI agents, and applications • Translate complex data, recommendations, and automation into intuitive, usable interfaces • Partner closely with product and design to define interaction patterns for AI-native workflows • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to design clean API contracts • Establish frontend standards around performance, accessibility, and maintainability • Optimize frontend performance for data-dense and real-time experiences • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and product discovery sessions • Contribute to frontend engineering culture through mentorship and shared ownership
