• Create screencasts, product walkthroughs, and video demos that show SuperPlane in action. • Build working use cases and turn them into blog posts, tutorials, and guides. • Be SuperPlane's voice in our Discord, on Reddit, Hacker News, and relevant DevOps Slack groups. • Represent SuperPlane at conferences or meetups a few times per year.
Role Description SuperPlane is an open source control plane where AI agents and engineers run operations together. We're a team of 10, founded by the creators of Semaphore CI/CD. Our users are DevOps and platform engineers at mid-size to large engineering orgs. We ship features fast and need you to turn them into content that shows practitioners what's possible. We need someone who can take our product, build real use cases with it, write them up clearly, and get that content in front of the right people. What you'll own: - Use case development: - Work with the product team to identify workflows that teams care about. - Build working demos: pipelines, integrations, configurations. - You're not documenting someone else's work. You're creating the use case yourself. - Technical writing: - Turn those use cases into blog posts, tutorials, how-to guides, and documentation. - Clear, practical, opinionated writing that practitioners trust. - Distribution: - Get your content seen. - Publish on our blog, cross-post where relevant, share on Reddit, Hacker News, DevOps Slack groups, and social media. - You understand where DevOps engineers actually read and how to reach them. What success looks like in the first 6 months: - A growing library of use-case demos with working code and configuration. - Consistent publishing cadence: at least one substantial piece per week. - Content that drives organic traffic and signups. - Clear, up-to-date documentation that reduces support questions. Qualifications - You have a DevOps or platform engineering background. - You've managed deployments, written CI pipelines, used tools like Terraform or Kubernetes. - You can write working code. - Your tutorials include real, runnable examples. - You write clearly and concisely. - You've published technical content before. - You have product intuition. - You're self-directed. - You use AI tools daily. - You're comfortable working async in a distributed team. Logistics - Remote-first. - We support co-working costs if needed. - Timezone: GMT-5 to GMT+3 (US East Coast through Europe). Compensation - Early-stage startup salary plus significant equity in a company with real traction and experienced founders. - If you want meaningful ownership in something that's working, let's talk. Company Description We welcome candidates of all backgrounds, genders, orientations, ethnicities, ages, and abilities. If you're looking for a place to do your best work and know your contributions are valued, you'll feel right at home here.
• We are hiring exceptional product engineers who can fully own projects and get them done. • At SuperPlane, we are not splitting engineering into frontend and backend roles. Everyone is a well-rounded builder who can move across the stack, make strong product and technical calls, ask for help when needed, and deliver features end to end. • You might spend one day tightening an API or workflow engine, and the next day polishing a React surface that users touch every day.
• Develop core features of SuperPlane from conception to deployment. • Develop APIs, integrations, and scalable services for multi-cloud environments. • Collaborate with the AI and Product teams to implement intelligent automation features. • Review peers’ work and contribute to engineering best practices. • Continuously improve performance, security, and developer experience.
• Design and implement AI-powered features end to end, including prompts, agents, tools, retrieval, evaluation, and feedback loops. • Build agent systems that interact safely with infrastructure, codebases, and deployment pipelines. • Integrate LLMs deeply into product workflows as core platform primitives. • Own quality across correctness, reliability, latency, and cost of AI systems in production. • Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, and Backend engineers to ship cohesive user-facing features. • Establish best practices for prompt design, evaluation, observability, and iteration.
