Strategic Account Manager - Healthcare

Role Description We’re seeking a Healthcare Strategic Account Manager who will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our most important clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our products or services. This role is key to driving long-term partnerships, maximizing customer value, and identifying opportunities for expansion across multiple accounts in the assigned sector. Solution selling is an integral part of this role in order to be successful. This is a fully remote role that requires frequent travel within the South Central Region. While the position is remote, the ideal candidate will reside in Texas, preferably within the Dallas–Fort Worth area. What You’ll Do: - Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned segment. - Lead segment group to meet and exceed STI sales targets. - Establish sales objectives and monthly, quarterly, annual sales quotas. - Create and implement sales plans. - Negotiate and close sales with targeted segment accounts. - Monitor and analyze sales targets and other performance metrics. - Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on the status of accounts, progress toward goals, and opportunities for growth. - Maintain, develop and coach sales staff of assigned sector group for performance success. - Maintain professional and technical knowledge. - Work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering is preferred, but other fields of study will be considered. - Minimum three years’ experience in sales with management experience preferred. - Minimum five years’ experience in outside sales. - Exposure and understanding of solution selling. - Excellent communication skills along with high comfort level of presenting to large groups. - Ability to travel within the assigned region several nights each month. - Confidence in public speaking before large groups in the pursuit of educating others on technical subject matter. - High capacity to create and manage a productive schedule without direct managerial oversight (self-initiation). - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. - Experience in identifying and executing growth opportunities within existing accounts. - Ability to build rapport with senior executives and stakeholders. - Management and leadership mindset. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to drive decision-making. - Ability to mentor and coach STI sales team members. - Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or other account management software. In this role, you will develop Engineering Judgments/Technical Evaluations and produce accurate 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD. You’ll work closely with engineers and subject matter experts to interpret specifications, create detailed documentation, and maintain consistent, high‑quality system files. This position focuses on precision, clarity, and timely delivery within established service‑level expectations. This role is remote‑friendly. Candidates within commuting distance of our Somerville, New Jersey headquarters will be required to complete initial onsite training and may be asked to come into the office for periodic meetings or collaboration. Remote candidates outside the region will complete training virtually. What You'll Do: Draft and modify technical drawings in AutoCAD based on engineering specifications and client needs. Utilize dynamic blocks and maintain consistent drawing standards across all projects. Provide drafting and technical support in AutoCAD format to support firestop applications. Review, revise, and quality-check engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Organize and manage project files systematically to allow easy access and revisions. Communicate effectively with engineers and team members to clarify specifications and resolve drafting-related issues. Work within established CAD standards, templates, and workflows. Maintain a structured digital file system for easy retrieval and reference. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline drafting processes.
