• Develop and implement courses for departmental program. • Develop strategies, evaluate progress, and implement policies that aid in student retention. • Monitor curricula to ensure compliance with South College standards and other accrediting bodies. • Monitor curricula to ensure uniform delivery and consistency within courses. • Assume responsibility for the logistics of course delivery including master course shells, syllabi, and textbooks. • Assign courses to full-time and adjunct faculty in accordance with South College’s “Faculty Workloads Governing Principles for Faculty”. • Manage recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, retention, and success of full-time and adjunct faculty. • Administer South College’s program for professional growth and development, in-service training, and faculty meetings for program faculty. • Monitor all online courses to ensure timely student email responses from faculty, faculty grading turnaround (72 hours), and other items necessary for successful online course administration. • Develop faculty who can deliver instruction through online learning to meet the strategic goals of South College.

• Help produce great student outcomes in Computer Science and Information Technology. • Teach courses in Software Development & Programming, Cybersecurity & Networking, Data Science & Intelligent Systems, User Experience & Interface Design, and Healthcare Technology. • Supervise internships and mentor students as part of professional experience-based learning.

• Provide quality instruction in each assigned course within the approved academic program curriculum • Respond, in a timely manner, to specific and general information requests from the institution and administrative officials, prospective employers, professional organizations, public agencies, civic organizations, private foundations, general public, and students, as appropriate • Promote appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and oral communications • Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines • Ensure all faculty expectations are met on a weekly basis • Appropriately manage all classroom activities • Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance • Monitor educational and professional literature for best practices in areas related to courses taught

• Serve as the subject matter expert for aesthetics specialty courses, providing oversight of course content and instructional alignment within designated specialty tracks. • Participate in systematic curriculum review processes to ensure compliance with national accrediting bodies and alignment with institutional initiatives. • Engage in weekly one-on-one meetings with the Associate Dean to review program operations, curriculum development, faculty performance, and student concerns. • Ensure effective and compliant student practicum placement through coordination with clinical partners and preceptor approval. • Provide faculty development and mentorship for adjunct instructors teaching within the aesthetics program through structured communication, program guidance, and performance support initiatives. • Collaborate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to coordinate student preparation for practicum experiences, including precept or credential review, approval of placement changes, and resolution of site-related challenges. • Review and approve all practicum preceptor assignments for students enrolled in the program. • Conduct virtual site evaluations of clinical and aesthetic practice partners on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance and educational quality. • Participate in the recruitment and interview process for new adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Associate Dean. • Review select admissions applications requiring additional oversight for the aesthetics program. • Actively participate in Program Coordinator meetings, aligning responsibilities with departmental strategic initiatives and curriculum planning efforts. • Collaborate with curriculum and instructional design teams to develop, revise, and oversee program curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and industry standards. • Coordinate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to secure and implement instructional resources that enhance student learning and outcomes (e.g., clinical tools, library resources, educational software). • Monitor student performance and collaborate with faculty to identify and support students requiring additional academic or clinical resources. • Provide oversight and intervention for at-risk students through coordinated communication with faculty and students. • Engage in ongoing professional development activities provided by the institution to enhance leadership effectiveness and role competencies.
