Role Description As a Senior Crop Insurance Claims Auditor, you will deliver exceptional customer service to agents and producers by accurately and efficiently reviewing and processing medium to complex crop insurance claim files. You will serve as a subject matter expert in at least one area of claims auditing, providing guidance and expertise to support colleagues and ensure consistency and quality across all audit activities. Location: This position will be remote and may be based in any of the following states: Kansas, Iowa, Montana, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, Minnesota, or Nebraska. What you’ll be doing: - Accurately and efficiently audit and process crop insurance claims to meet quality, compliance, and production standards. - Communicate with underwriters, adjusters, agents, and producers to ensure timely resolution of claim-related issues. - Work independently and collaboratively to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and recommend appropriate resolutions. - Research and interpret policy guidance and reference materials, including Loss Adjustment Manuals (LAM), policy provisions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other internal resources. - Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and internal policies and procedures in all claim activities. - Handle a range of crop claims, including moderate to advanced complexity. - Investigate and resolve complex claims issues with limited supervision while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Qualifications - 5+ years of crop insurance experience preferred. - Proven experience in crop insurance claims auditing and processing preferred. - Strong understanding of Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) policies and ability to apply them in practice preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general technical/computer systems. - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across internal teams and external partners. Role Description Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a VP, Property Account Engineer in our Risk Control Division. The Property Account Engineer will provide risk improvement consultation for large and middle-market commercial property customers with highly valued or complex property risks. These services provide added value to our clients. The focus of this position is to coordinate the field consulting services needed to evaluate insurable loss exposures and the adequacy of control methods for existing and prospective clients, aid underwriters in selecting and pricing accounts, and impact positive changes at assigned clients through the recommendation process. This position requires travel to client sites for assessment and consultation purposes. The Account Engineer will also track trends at an account and book level and communicate effectively with our clients and brokers. Candidate must have proficiency in property loss control skills. Role Description As the VP, Underwriter, you will support the established Sompo Rail Unit evaluating complex railroad related liability risks.
