Bordereau Management Data Analyst

• Become an internal SME for the US MGA & Program business, taking charge of gaining a deeper understanding of the products and associated data, and making determinations on data interpretation for downstream onboarding, including validating data accuracy and quality. • Expand and refine existing data standards for MGA & Program business by collaborating with business and technology teams to maintain data dictionaries and data templates. • Work closely with Program Managers to negotiate and gather the required policy, premium, claims, and risk exposure data from Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, or TPAs and escalate issues to internal teams where necessary. • Manage the end-to-end data onboarding process for the Bordereaux Management System (BMS) including but not limited to: • Analysing and mapping data to verify the accuracy and completeness of data that has been collected. This may involve checking for duplicate entries, missing information, or incorrect figures. • Work with data engineering teams to integrate data into our Bordereaux Management System (BMS). • Perform acceptance testing on data that has been loaded to ensure it reconciles to source files and aligns to the mapping and validation rules that have been defined. • Monitor and address data quality issues to ensure compliance with agreed standards and timelines, either by resolving them internally or contacting partners for corrections. • Collaborate with our internal Business Intelligence (BI) team and key business stakeholders to develop insights, analytics and reports to: • Identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement with regards to the overall performance of a portfolio. • Monitor whether Brokers, MGAs, Coverholders, or TPAs are meeting the terms and conditions of the Program Management Agreements (PMA) and Binding Authority Agreements. • Meet the needs of regulators, reinsurers, market bodies and internal compliance teams, including ISO/ISS, Lloyds, premium tax etc • Implement continuous improvement processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors and improve oversight & decision making. • Develop and enforce best practices in areas of master and reference data management, data mapping, data modelling and data integration with regards to the Bordereaux Management System (BMS) • Ensure process and training documentation in relation to Bordereaux Management Procedures are kept up to date. • Stay aware of market standards (including ACORD and Lloyds), changes to bordereaux data and processing requirements.
Actuarial Pricing Review and Execution Lead, Programs

• Orchestrate analytical throughput across the team by translating direction from the Head of Pricing into clear workplans, sequencing tasks, aligning methodologies, and ensuring deliverables move efficiently from initial analysis to review-ready form. • Review all NA Insurance pricing analyses, monitoring inputs, and program deliverables before they reach the Head of Pricing. • Ensure consistent methodology and standards are applied across all programs and analyses. • Identify technical errors, inconsistent assumptions, gaps in reasoning, unclear documentation, and methodological drift. • Return structured, actionable feedback and ensure work is revised to review-ready standard. • Provide meaningful developmental coaching to junior, mid-level, and senior actuaries, reinforcing analytical standards, documentation discipline, and independent judgement. • Deliver repeatable guidance that builds team capabilities over time, not just fixes individual analyses • Review automated and summary outputs for reasonability and internal consistency. • Partner with data/Power BI specialists when monitoring findings indicate data or KPI issues (without owning data reconciliation). • Translate underwriting year performance into calendar-quarter financial impact, ensuring coherent and consistent narrative across programs.
• Develop and update company’s long-term financial plan, ensuring alignment with overall vision, mission, and business objectives. • Collaborate with the executive team in setting multi-year growth targets and defining the financial roadmap to achieve them. • Model long-range forecasts and scenario plans, considering evolving business models, market entry or exit strategies, and external factors. • Provide thought leadership and expertise to challenge assumptions, drive innovation, and ensure sustainable value creation. • Set clear financial and strategic targets for portfolio businesses, informed by both quantitative analysis and market intelligence. • Develop and monitor metrics for portfolio performance, initiating corrective actions where necessary to achieve objectives. • Drive strategic reviews to maintain alignment of portfolios with changing business priorities and market conditions. • Lead and oversee research initiatives on industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and competitive benchmarks to inform financial strategy decisions. • Conduct scenario analyses, sensitivity tests, and what-if modelling to support executive decision-making and strategic planning. • Prepare insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership and Board of Directors on key financial issues. • Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and market developments that could impact the company’s financial position or strategy.
Program Manager, NA P&C Insurance

• Leading development of Property & Casualty (P&C) underwriting guidelines and Letters of Authority for MGUs/MGAs/Program Administrators and standards and procedures for those exceptions outside of the underwriting guidelines. • Actively managing all Key Performance Indicators, including pricing objectives, profit improvement and combined loss ratio results. • Partnering with key support units, including Finance, Actuarial, Claims, Legal, Compliance, Operations and IT to analyze issues, identify solutions and drive execution on challenges faced by company, partners and customers. • For P&C MGUs/MGAs: supporting development of program and ceded business documents in conjunction with Underwriting, CUO and legal department. • Develop new P&C products including research and development, underwriting guidelines, SERFF Support for internal or external filing resources, pricing and state submissions and approvals. • Performing audits and conducting program reviews. Examining documents such as polices, application state endorsements, OFAC, plan documents and other documents necessary related to the writing of each programs business. • Identifying and managing portfolio-level risks, issues and dependencies. • Partnering with Legal/Compliance on legislative and regulatory topics impacting the P&C programs, including but not limited to data collection with programs, states and other entities for the accurate reporting of taxes, assessments and other compliance aspects of direct insurance. • Supporting corporate accounting with the collection of data from individual programs including, premiums, states, limits, etc. • Developing and maintaining relationships with MGUs/MGAs/Program Administrators. • Closely monitoring market and program specific trends to assure program performance consistent with company expectations. • Primary contact with each direct insurance program for all administrative, underwriting and service concerns or questions. • Building and maintaining relationships with support units, brokers, and reinsurers to support the goals and objectives of company. • Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports and other ad hoc reports as required. • Supporting P&C new business initiatives and conducting the appropriate triage of new business opportunities. • Assisting in training and developing staff. • Providing expertise on coverage issues with Claims. • Developing and leading marketing presentations to new and current agents/brokers. • Leading and ensuring the successful completion of complex projects. • Diagnosing and developing recommendations to solve unique business and customer challenges.
