Senior, hands-on, and genuinely impactful — without the overhead of a full-time hire at this stage of our growth. You will act as Group CFO across all entities — current and future — providing the financial architecture, forecasting rigour, and commercial judgment the business needs to scale confidently through the next stage of growth and beyond. This is not a reporting role. It is a decision-support role. You will: - Own cashflow forecasting. - Lead budgeting. - Manage external accountants across three jurisdictions. - Be a trusted voice in the room when commercial decisions are being made. You will work closely with the Founder & CEO and COO, having direct access to financial data, external advisors, and leadership meetings. You will be empowered to push back, flag risk, and challenge assumptions — including with founders. Final decision-making stays with the founders, but your fingerprints should be all over the numbers they use to make those decisions. What You'll Own - Cashflow and Forecasting: Own and maintain group-level cashflow forecasting across all entities. Provide forward-looking insight to support stock purchases, growth initiatives, and dividend planning, and identify risks before they become problems. - Budgeting and Financial Planning: Lead annual and rolling budgets across the group. Build stock purchasing and inventory funding models. Ensure financial assumptions are realistic and aligned with operational priorities. - Group Financial Oversight: Act as financial custodian across all entities, ensuring correct structuring, intercompany alignment, and compliance documentation. Prepare the group for scale with clean, auditable financials. - Accounting and Advisor Management: Liaise with external accountants across New Zealand, the US, and UAE. Ensure management accounts are timely and decision-useful. - Commercial Analysis: Support margin analysis, unit economics, FX exposure modelling, and working capital strategy. Sense-check commercial decisions with a pragmatic, numbers-first lens. Qualifications - A senior finance professional with strong operational experience — not a pure technician. - Experience inside high-volume transactional businesses, ideally in e-commerce or DTC. - Comfortable working fractionally and independently. - Calm under pressure, commercially grounded, and willing to push back constructively. - Not a "no by default" finance personality. - Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structures is essential. - Familiarity with building finance systems before building finance teams is a strong advantage. What Success Looks Like - The CEO and COO trust the numbers completely. - Cashflow forecasting is reliable and used to drive real decisions. - Budgets are actively referenced, not filed. - External accountants are delivering clean, timely outputs. - The finance function is quietly scaling ahead of the business — not reacting to it. Community Management & Social Engagement - Own all inbound and outbound community engagement across brand social platforms, including DMs, comments, replies, and story interactions. - Actively engage with our audience by liking, commenting, and joining conversations on our content. - Build relationships with our influencer and ambassador partners by actively engaging with their content.  - Bring our brands into culturally relevant conversations through regularly engaging with health and wellness content.  - Moderate conversations to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive community environment. - Escalate sensitive, high-risk, or PR-related issues appropriately. - Ensure consistent, empathetic, and brand-aligned responses across all channels. - Own responses to all paid whitelisting comments (Meta channels, TikTok) Platform & Tool Proficiency - Manage community workflows using Sprout Social (or similar tools) to ensure organized inbox management and timely responses. - Actively operate across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta platforms. - Stay current on platform moderation tools, community features, and best practices. Customer Experience & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with the Customer Service team to align messaging, resolve issues, and ensure seamless handoffs between social and CX. Reporting, Insights & Optimization - Monitor response times, sentiment, volume, and recurring issues across platforms. - Deliver weekly and monthly reports on community health, trends, and key pain points. - Surface insights from the community to inform product feedback, CX improvements, and marketing strategy.

Multiple markets. Aggressive growth targets. Paid social is one of our primary growth channels — and creative performance directly impacts revenue. We're looking for a Creative Strategy Lead who can turn audience insight and performance data into scalable, high-converting paid social concepts across both brands. This role is equal parts strategist, analyst, and hands-on executor. You won't just "come up with ideas." You'll build structured testing pipelines, extract insights from performance data, develop repeatable creative frameworks, and raise the performance baseline quarter after quarter. If you understand hooks at a molecular level, live inside ad libraries, and obsess over iteration cycles — keep reading. The Role You will own creative strategy across paid social for both Simply Nootropics and Tmrw. You'll work directly with our Head of Creative, media buyers, designers, editors, and creator teams across markets. What You'll Own Creative Strategy, Concepting & UGC Develop high-performing paid social concepts across all markets for both brands. Translate audience insights, product messaging, and performance data into creative angles and hooks. Lead concept development from brief through to execution. Stay hands-on — you'll be scripting, writing copy, and shaping concepts yourself, not just directing from a distance. Develop strategic, performance-driven UGC briefs across products and markets. Collaborate with our Creator Coordinator to brief, review, and iterate on creator content. Identify hooks, angles, and video formats that are driving results across the category. Ensure all output meets platform specs, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements for both brands. This is performance-led, hypothesis-driven creative — not random ideas thrown at a wall. Performance Analysis & Optimisation Analyse creative performance data across both Simply Nootropics and Tmrw to identify what's working, what isn't, and why. Define and track creative KPIs across markets, formats, and both brands. Translate performance signals into actionable creative iterations. Work closely with paid media to align creative strategy with scaling decisions. You should be as comfortable reading a dashboard and making strategic calls from data as you are writing a script. Testing & Iteration Systems Build and manage a structured creative testing pipeline with clear hypotheses and documented learnings across both brands. Feed iteration cycles back into strategy to continuously raise the performance baseline. We want compounding improvement — not random spikes.
