• You will stay on top of advances in AI and how Simbian can use them to make security operations easier, faster , more accurate. • You will own the product roadmap for one or more of our AI Agents, and drive it to reality in partnership with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Founders. • You will distill customer feedback and drive solutions. • You will co-own GTM with the marketing and sales teams and continuously evolve the best way to land the product in the market. • You will track competitors and partners to ensure Simbian’s offerings stay differentiated.
• Lead and mentor a pod of backends, frontend, or platform engineers (depending on pod assignment: e.g., Integrations, Investigation Infra, Threat Hunting, etc.) • Drive delivery of product and platform features aligned to quarterly OKRs • Establish engineering best practices for code quality, observability, security, and reliability • Collaborate with product managers and security SMEs to define technical scope, execution plans, and delivery timelines. • Provide technical guidance in architecture decisions across areas such as: 1. Scalable microservices 2. Security product integrations (EDR, SIEM, CNAPP, etc.) • Data pipelines (historical + real-time event ingestion) • AI/ML systems for reasoning and automation • Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent. • Ensure pods maintain a high bar for innovation, execution, and collaboration.
• Function as a technical expert across the customer lifecycle • Post-sales implementation and integrations (80%) • Selective involvement in pre-sales activities (20%) • Ensure seamless deployment, integration with OEM security tools • Successful adoption of Simbian’s AI SOC platform across enterprise and MSSP environments • Act as the primary technical point of contact post-sales • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to integrations, deployments, and workflows • Collaborate with internal teams and OEM partners to ensure smooth implementations and issue resolution • Drive product adoption and value realization post deployment • Partner with sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle
• Coaching & Mentorship: Provide daily hands-on coaching, conduct 1:1s, and run team meetings to develop your BDRs' skills in prospecting, messaging complex security concepts, handling technical objections, and lead qualification. • Performance Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, including activity metrics, conversion rates (e.g., MQL to SQL), and quota attainment. • Strategy & Process: Help refine and execute the team's outbound prospecting strategy. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in targeting security leaders. • Hiring & Onboarding: Partner with sales leadership to recruit, interview, and onboard new BDRs. • Motivation: Foster a positive, high-energy, and collaborative team culture that celebrates wins and learns from failures. • Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between the BDR team and their Account Executive (AE) partners, ensuring seamless lead handoffs and strong alignment on territory and account strategy. • Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed your own individual monthly/quarterly quota for qualified sales opportunities. • Prospecting: Lead by example by identifying and targeting strategic accounts, running multi channel outbound campaigns (call, email, social) to security practitioners, and booking high quality meetings. • Mastery: Serve as the subject matter expert for the team on prospecting techniques, our AI security value proposition, and our sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach/SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). • Testing: Pilot new outreach strategies, messaging, and tools before rolling them out to the team.
• Design end-to-end product experiences, including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI screens for Simbian’s web-based security tools using Figma, Vercel and similar platforms. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to simplify complex information, ensuring key workflows are intuitive for security users. • Enhance product usability by organizing information clearly, selecting optimal layouts, and refining interactive elements like buttons, labels, and states. • Evolve Simbian’s design system specifically for security operations, creating specialized components and patterns for dashboards, tables, timelines, and multi-step workflows. • Develop diverse visual assets, including social media creatives, presentation decks, one-pagers, and graphics for marketing campaigns and events. • Manage the Simbian website, designing page layouts and visuals to ensure the site remains clear, consistent, and on-brand. • Maintain the core design system, including typography, colors, and components, to ensure a unified look across both product and marketing materials. • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality designs on schedule. • Iterate rapidly based on feedback to ensure all final designs are polished and production-ready.
• Drive New Business & Exceed Quota: Independently build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently meet and exceed revenue targets through effective prospecting, qualification, and closing of major accounts. • Channel Partner Management: Develop, maintain, and grow strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key channel partners. • Cybersecurity Product Expertise: Demonstrate proven hands-on sales experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR solutions. • Greenfield Territory Development: Ability to enter successfully and expand into untapped markets or new verticals. • Strategic/ Major Account Sales: Experience managing and expanding relationships with strategic accounts or large enterprise customers. • Presentation & Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and articulate product value clearly at all levels. • Team Collaboration: Work in close alignment with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing functions to ensure strategy alignment and optimal customer outcomes. • Forecast & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate pipeline reports and expert-level forecasting.
• Coordinate logistics, planning, and execution of field marketing events, including conferences, trade shows, and product launches. • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners, ensuring timely delivery of services and quality standards. • Oversee contracts, agreements, and procurement processes for field marketing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Support the planning and execution of global field marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, including content creation, email marketing, and social media promotions. • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
• Own end-to-end design & delivery of features you take up • Ship platform, agent, or integration capabilities at high velocity • Collaborate not just with product & engineering leaders, but also sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to shape what we build and why • Deploy features into live production environments, with ownership beyond delivery — including monitoring, stability, and iteration post-launch • Building agents for SecOps → Develop autonomous agents that investigate alerts, triage threats, respond, and close cases with minimal human input. • Designing tool schemas, workflows, memory stores for agents → Define structured tool interfaces, execution paths, and long-term memory for reasoning across tasks. • LangGraph based flows for agents (or another agentic framework) → Build multi step agent workflows with branching logic, retries, validation, and conditional tool calling. • Safe-execution loops with guardrails, policy layers, and approvals → Ensure agents operate within risk boundaries using policy controls and human-review checkpoints. • Building high-scale, multi-tenant backend systems→ Architect services that securely support many customer environments in parallel without resource collisions. • Designing ingestion, indexing & agent memory retrieval layers → Build pipelines that ingest customer security data, store it as agent-accessible memory, and retrieve relevant context instantly. • Implementing evaluation pipelines & scoring frameworks for agents → Measure agent quality using scoring metrics, test harnesses, regressions, and continuous feedback signals. • Real-time incident lifecycle automation end-to-end → Automate detection → enrichment → investigation → response with minimal human touch. • Attack simulation & golden dataset creation → Generate controlled attack scenarios to evaluate agents and build benchmark datasets for continuous improvement. • SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR style integrations → Integrate with enterprise security products, ingest telemetry, push remediation actions, and unify signals across the stack.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers • Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot workloads in Kubernetes • Strong expertise in AWS for cloud infrastructure management • Manage and maintain SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL • Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions • Proficiency in Node.js or Python for automation and scripting tasks • Experience in on-premises deployments for customer environments • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
