• Handle the day-to-day interconnection process for new & existing development projects from siting to execution including interconnection agreements, affected systems and engineering agreements • Assist in the development of commercial arrangements to optimize project cost, schedule and risks • Oversee consultants as necessary to support the interconnection process including application deliverables in addition to engineering review of utility schedules and cost estimate • Establish working relationships with utilities, ISOs and industry representatives in key markets • Act as an advisor and liaison with Project Development, Business Development and management on interconnection issues and policies related to project development risk and opportunities • Assist in the evaluation of utility system loading (e.g., deliverability, congestion) and potential interconnection costs to support siting of new development projects • Assist in the evaluation of interconnection and gen-tie studies and alternatives; participate in processes to optimize project interconnection options based on cost, schedule, off take preference and risk • Support PPA, financing and project sale processes including providing information on the interconnection agreements and articulating the project’s specific interconnection related attributes • Assist with due-diligence review of potential project and portfolio acquisitions and related commercial transactions related to the interconnection and transmission risk and provide recommendations to the acquisition team • Begin developing a basic understanding of the transmission/interconnection related legislation and regulations that impact Region of responsibility. • Develop a working knowledge of related regional tariffs and understand its effect on the interconnection process.
Role Description The Associate, Asset Management supports the operational and commercial performance of Silicon Ranch’s utility-scale renewable energy portfolio. This role focuses on optimizing asset performance, administering contract compliance, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, and optimized operations. Main Responsibilities - Monitor and manage the operational and financial performance of an assigned portfolio of solar assets, serving as the primary internal point of contact for day-to-day asset oversight. - Track asset-level P&L, operating expenses, and budget variance analysis; escalate material deviations with recommended corrective actions. - Coordinate with O&M service providers to prioritize and resolve operational anomalies and equipment failures in a timely manner, with a focus on minimizing generation loss and protecting revenue. - Review and validate O&M provider performance against contractual KPIs and service level agreements; support formal performance review processes. - Monitor plant performance and analyze production data to identify underperformance trends and root causes. - Support the management of PPAs, interconnection agreements, O&M contracts, and EPC warranty provisions, ensuring counterparty obligations are met and contractual rights are preserved. - Manage warranty claims and equipment defect notifications in coordination with OEMs and EPC contractors; track resolution timelines and outcomes. - Prepare and deliver accurate monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards for leadership and external stakeholders, as required. - Ensure assigned assets maintain compliance with applicable NERC/FERC requirements, local permitting conditions, environmental obligations, and utility interconnection protocols. - Support asset commissioning and COD transitions, coordinating the intake of project documentation, data systems, contracts, and operational handover from development and construction teams. - Contribute to the identification and evaluation of asset optimization opportunities, including curtailment reduction, availability improvement, and O&M cost management. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records including site documentation and contract repositories. • Under supervision of Sr Project Engineers or Engineering Management staff, the Project Engineer I, provides engineering management of 3rd party EPC design deliverables and actively manages internal PVsyst models in alignment with project designs, and provides construction support and commissioning documentation review/approval support. • Responsible for ensuring contractor engineering deliverables remain on-schedule, and for managing and directing internal engineering department deliverables as well as any outsourced engineering to assure designs meet the requirements of Silicon Ranch, contract commitments and industry engineering practices. • Participates in contract document creation and EPC bid reviews, as well as Project Finance team support via coordination with Independent Engineers. • Review internally-produced designs of solar energy projects against project constraints and contractual commitments, and reports findings to Sr Engineering or Engineering Management staff. • Coordinates or runs PVsyst to confirm design production against contractual commitments, and reports findings to Sr Engineering or Engineering Management staff. • Contracting team support in assembling contract documents, and in reviewing 3rd party EPC bids under supervision. • Coordinate and conducts design reviews via Bluebeam Revu Sessions for solar power plants and substations – including drawings, calculations, and reports under supervision. • Manage project Engineering-specific data via company software platforms. • Gather and review applicable codes, standards, and vendor and client requirements and communicate requirements to project team. • Participate in constructability reviews. • Conduct site visits as needed to support site evaluation, construction, commissioning, Project Finance. • Support Project Execution and Operations teams during commissioning process and project close out. • Encourage and engage in continuous learning opportunities.

• Own the performance and availability of inverter and BESS systems across the fleet. • Drive the resolution of major failures, sustained underperformance, and serial defects. • Track and analyze performance and reliability metrics to identify emerging risks. • Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex inverter, BESS, and AC system issues. • Translate field observations into clear problem statements and actionable solutions. • Support O&M teams with structured troubleshooting and escalation. • Serve as the primary engineering interface with inverter and BESS OEMs and service providers.
Role Description Silicon Ranch is seeking a Remote Operations Center (ROC) Manager to support and lead the transformation of our operations center into a 24/7, GOP2-aligned control center. The ROC is currently evolving from a hybrid monitoring and dispatch model into a fully staffed, around-the-clock operations center capable of supporting both community solar and NERC-aligned utility-scale operations. This role may be hired during or shortly after this transition and will play a critical role in stabilizing, scaling, and operationalizing the new model. Main Responsibilities: - ROC Transition & 24/7 Operations: - Support the transition from a hybrid operations model to a fully staffed 24/7 Remote Operations Center. - Establish and refine shift structures, roles, escalation protocols, and operating rhythms. - Ensure continuity, stability, and performance during and after the transition. - Operations & Monitoring: - Lead real-time monitoring and operational support of solar assets across the fleet. - Oversee alarm management, issue triage, and dispatch to field teams. - Ensure timely response, communication, and resolution of plant issues. - Systems & Process Implementation: - Partner with internal teams and external consultants to implement: - Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Event management and logging protocols. - Cybersecurity and access control processes. - Operator workflows and audit trails. - Own and enhance CMMS and monitoring systems to support scalable operations. - NERC Readiness & Compliance (Utility-Scale Future State): - Support the buildout of processes aligned with NERC standards (CIP, TOP, COM, EOP, etc.). - Help operationalize compliance frameworks developed by the consulting partner. - Contribute to audit readiness, documentation, and training programs. - Prepare the ROC for future utility-scale control center responsibilities. - Team Leadership & Development: - Lead, coach, and develop a team of ROC operators. - Build capabilities aligned with both current community solar needs and future NERC requirements. - Support development of training programs, including operator qualification pathways. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with Performance Engineering, Asset Management, O&M, and Compliance teams. - Ensure seamless coordination for issue identification, dispatch, and resolution. - Contractor & Vendor Oversight: - Oversee third-party monitoring providers to ensure SLA adherence. - Ensure no plant events or alarms are missed and all issues are properly escalated and tracked. Qualifications - Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. - 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, utilities, or power operations. - 3+ years managing a monitoring, dispatch, or operations center. - Experience working in dynamic or transitioning operational environments. - Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and monitoring platforms. - Preferred Qualifications: - Experience standing up or scaling a 24/7 operations or control center. - Familiarity with CMMS platforms (Maximo, SAP, Infor, etc.). - Exposure to utility-scale operations or ISO/RTO environments (e.g., PJM, ERCOT). - Working knowledge of NERC standards and compliance frameworks. - Experience working alongside external consultants or in structured transformation programs. • Responsible for the planning and execution of small to large scale PV Solar projects ranging in size between 1 MWac to 100+ MWac. • Managing a single project or a portfolio of projects in various stages executed concurrently depending on size and complexity. • Work with several internal teams including business development, project development, engineering, finance, accounting, legal, and field-level site managers. • Be the commercial lead, enforce contract requirements, manage client relations, and project deliverable requirements. • Establish and monitor performance metrics, project schedules, risk profiles, and cost performance of the project.
