Location: Remote Reports to: Chief Clinical Officer Position Overview: Savoy Life is seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team as a telemedicine provider. This role is fully remote and focuses on supporting senior living communities by collaborating with on-site RNs to deliver high-quality, individualized care. The NP will play a critical role in completing care plans, conducting virtual visits, and helping shape the future of telemedicine services within our organization. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct new patient and establish-care visits via telemedicine, focusing on chronic condition management. - Collaborate with on-site RNs to develop individualized care plans tailored to patients' chronic disease burdens. - Perform telemedicine priority care visits for common ailments experienced by residents in senior living communities. - Partner with the Chief Clinical Officer to adjust workflows and processes based on feedback and the evolving needs of senior living partners. - Assist in scoping and developing training materials and workflows to onboard additional clinicians as the organization expands. - Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. - Provide clinical insights to support the growth and innovation of telemedicine services. Qualifications: - Active, unencumbered NP license. - Active licenses in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona, with the ability to obtain additional licenses as required. - Strong experience in geriatric medicine and chronic disease management. - Expertise in developing care plans for patients with multiple chronic conditions. - Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in using EMR systems. - Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, solve problems independently, and adapt to evolving workflows. Travel Requirement: - Occasional travel for opening new facilities or team meetings, though not part of daily responsibilities. • Partner directly with our CEO and COO to design, architect, and build the technical foundation that powers Savoy Life’s caregiving‑first model. • Own the creation of our data infrastructure, intelligence layer, and early products that unify caregiving and clinical data—enabling risk stratification, clinical decision support, and scalable continuous care. • Implement and own the technical strategy for AI‑enabled clinical signals, early‑risk detection, sentiment analysis, and proactive care workflows. • Leverage LLMs to power both conversational, virtual rounding, and structured clinical summaries. • Use AI‑native tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, GitHub tools, agents) to accelerate prototyping and development velocity. • Create our data infrastructure, automated AI/BI driven insights, and BI querying. • Build and scale ETL pipelines that ingest data from QHIN data, HIEs, internal Savoy tools and potentially beyond. • Ensure data integrity and traceability across a wide variety of structured and unstructured inputs. • Build Savoy’s platform with HIPAA compliance and senior‑care regulatory needs from day one. • Implement secure data storage, encryption, auditing, access control, and monitoring frameworks. • Establish and enforce best practices for uptime, reliability, and operational readiness. • After building the first versions of our product, recruit, mentor, and develop engineers as the organization scales. • Establish engineering culture, SDLC practices, architectural standards, and performance expectations.

Who You Are A Founder‑Level Technologist - 10+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record of building and shipping complex, high‑impact products. - Experience designing and scaling backend systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms. - Comfortable owning technical architecture end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving startup setting. Deep Backend & Infrastructure Expertise - Expertise in database design, distributed systems, and event‑driven architectures. - Hands‑on experience deploying secure, scalable systems on AWS/Azure/GCP. Healthcare Data Fluency - Experience with clinical data structures (EHR, care notes, vitals, symptoms), healthcare integration standards (FHIR/HL7), or related domains. - Understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and the nuances of clinical workflows. AI‑Forward Builder - Experience using LLMs to build production features (NLP, summarization, conversational AI, risk prediction, or agent frameworks). - Comfortable with prompt engineering, model selection, and grounding strategies. Security & Compliance Mindset - Deep understanding of secure system design, encryption standards, access control models, auditability, and threat modeling. - Experience building systems for regulated industries is a strong plus.
