• Build and ship internal Go microservices for the analytics and data pipeline • Implement event-driven handlers using NATS JetStream as part of Sarwa’s messaging infrastructure • Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for new product features • Write integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning with the backend team • Collaborate with product, operations, and frontend teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions • Continuously learn and apply new practices, and share those learnings with the team
• Audit existing Terraform state and understand Sarwa’s Infrastructure as Code philosophy • Provision a temporary Sandbox account within Sarwa’s AWS Organization, deploying core networking (VPC, Subnets) via Terraform to validate infrastructure portability across accounts and regions • Participate in the DR Automation project - helping automate regional failover and promotion workflows • Write and maintain automation scripts using boto3 for tasks that IaC cannot handle dynamically • Contribute to documentation: build a comprehensive, code-backed DR Playbook that enables any engineer to trigger a regional failover with high confidence • Collaborate with the backend and platform teams to ensure infrastructure changes align with application requirements • Learn and apply cross-region peering, multi-account routing, and EKS deployment management
• Improve internal tooling: enhance build pipelines and help visualize engineering metrics • Expand technical documentation by covering patterns and best practices used across the frontend codebase • Help build and connect our Figma Code Connect integration for the new component library • Write integration tests for existing screens using Maestro, improving confidence in releases • Contribute to the design system and component library to ensure consistency across Sarwa’s products • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver polished, user-facing improvements • Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and team discussions
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content creators, designers, editors, and editorial specialists. • Oversee all content output to ensure consistency in quality, brand voice, business goals, and editorial standards. • Own and maintain brand voice guidelines, style guides, and editorial standards documentation. • Manage the editorial calendar and publishing cadence across all content channels. • Guide content strategy by deriving thoughtful insights from data analysis, audience research, and performance metrics. • Optimise the content performance–creation feedback loops, and constantly refine content strategy in alignment with the VP of Marketing. • Define, track, and report on content KPIs (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversions, lead attribution) to leadership and stakeholders. • Manage and help create content per platform, focusing on overarching user search intent and pain points. • Collaborate with growth, product, and advisory teams to produce high-converting content (video, podcasting, written) focused on financial literacy. • Coordinate SEO/GEO content strategies alongside team members and specialists. • Own the content distribution and amplification strategy, including email newsletters, syndication, organic social, and paid promotion of content. • Explore and integrate AI-assisted content tools and workflows to improve efficiency and scale, while maintaining editorial quality. • Contribute and support with content creation, announcements, community events, and other relevant communications. • Manage the content budget, including allocation across internal resources, freelancers, and external agencies. • Oversee relationships with freelance writers, designers, video producers, and agency partners as needed.

• Be on the front line in solving some of the most pressing technical challenges we face. • Develop and maintain a microservice architecture that spans services such as Investing, Trading, Account Management, Funding • Create services that scale to tens of thousands of clients • Own and deliver software projects on time by proactively working with stakeholders from product/tech/marketing/operations/sales in problem solving and helping elaborate the requirements, business logic and scope of the solution • Create great quality products and services by solving the problem with good architecture and algorithms that work now and tomorrow, managing complexity, ensuring data consistency, making sure it all runs well at scale, and of course handling errors by creating robust and resilient systems • Test developed code with automated unit/integration tests • Create tools and processes to help you and other members of the team develop high quality code faster, as well as to help the team support and maintain products/services running in production • Continuously learn and apply new practices and technologies, and propagating those learnings within the team.
• Manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other channels. • Lead lifecycle channels: email, push, and in-app, and continuously optimise for activation and engagement through A/B testing. • Be an active part of growth initiatives, from planning to launch to iteration of activations, working cross-functionally. • Collaborate with the creative team to develop ads and visuals across multiple lifecycle touchpoints. • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor performance and insights.
