Role Description Pet Krewe is looking for a Director of Operations to own our end-to-end supply chain and order management operations. You’ll oversee the full Order to Cash and Purchase to Payment lifecycle - from demand planning and purchasing through fulfillment, invoicing, supply chain management, and inventory reconciliation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage a small, high-impact operations team, drive process improvement across internal systems, establish the systems and discipline needed to scale, and build meaningful relationships within the supply chain. You’ll be the operational backbone of the business, and a crucial part of the team. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment leadership. - Experience in consumer goods, retail, CPG, eCommerce, or pet industry environments. - Strong ERP experience, ideally NetSuite. - Hands-on experience with wholesale retail operations and EDI compliance. - Experience managing 3PL and freight relationships. - Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills. - Experience leading teams and improving business processes. - Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, Costco, or other major retail account experience (preferred). - Amazon FBA / Seller Central experience (preferred). - International sourcing and ocean freight knowledge (preferred). - Demand planning / S&OP experience (preferred). - Startup or growth-stage company experience (preferred). - Experience with automation tools or workflow improvement systems (preferred). Requirements - Own order management across all channels including Walmart EDI, Dollar Tree EDI, Shopify DTC, and Amazon FBA. - Ensure order accuracy, on-time fulfillment, and strong service levels across all channels. - Manage retailer compliance requirements including ASN submission, routing, invoicing terms, and chargeback prevention. - Oversee relationships with 3PL partners, freight carriers, and logistics vendors. - Monitor fulfillment KPIs including shipment status, OTIF performance, delays, and issue resolution. - Improve and standardize order change processes across systems. - Lead purchasing operations and PO approvals aligned to forecasted demand. - Partner with Demand Planning to improve forecast accuracy by customer and channel. - Own inventory workflows including reconciliation, stock accuracy, and operational controls. - Oversee inbound receipts, landed cost processes, and ERP inventory accuracy. - Build stronger visibility into supply chain risks, inventory gaps, and replenishment needs. - Own operational cadence connecting demand planning, purchasing, fulfillment, and inventory into one integrated rhythm. - Optimize NetSuite workflows, reporting, saved searches, and data standards. - Improve EDI workflows within TrueCommerce or similar platforms. - Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve accuracy. - Document SOPs and clarify ownership across all operational handoffs. - Lead and develop a small operations team spanning order management, logistics, purchasing, and planning support. - Build accountability, communication rhythm, and performance standards. - Serve as a trusted operational partner to leadership. - Provide clear updates, solutions, and escalation plans when needed. This role will focus on developing innovative packaging concepts for pet food products while managing all production-ready artwork and print deliverables. The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, capable of bringing packaging concepts to life while maintaining strict adherence to production specifications. This person will play a critical role in ensuring that designs are executed accurately from concept through final production. In addition to design responsibilities, the candidate must maintain organized records of product specifications, item configurations, and packaging assets across internal platforms to ensure consistency and operational accuracy.
