Role Description Provides sales & customer support coverage, management and strategic focus for the North American End-user Sales of Ruhrpumpen in a defined territory and/or account lists. End-user Sales is responsible for increasing sales, market share and profits for all Ruhrpumpen product lines, as well as Non-OEM products, as defined in sales strategies; with a focus on repairs & retrofits of all brands of pumping equipment (OEM or Non-OEM), mechanical optimization, parts, and new pumps sales, across all market segments. - Grow business in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis. - Maintain active communication and relationships with respective in-house personnel. - Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer/territory interactions. - Identify and develop new customers and new sales potentials. - Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies. - Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including Non-OEM products as defined in sales strategies. - Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to ensure proposals are generated to meet requirements. - Recommend changes to Key Account sales strategies/tactics as they are periodically evaluated for effectiveness. - Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal details to mutual satisfaction of all parties. - Provide new pump opportunities to OE Inside Sales Group for quoting and specifications. - Travel to customer locations to ensure close and regular face-to-face contact. - Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on a regular basis. - Complete monthly activity reports and forecasts including industry/market/account competitive analysis to support management strategy. Qualifications - Open to travel. - Candidate must live in Texas Area or Oklahoma area. - Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, solutions, customer pay-back at all levels of the customer’s at a high professional level. - Ability to manage a sales territory, develop and execute individual business plans. - Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Similar. - 5+ years Pump Industry Experience. Role Description The Municipal Market Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving Ruhrpumpen (RP) sales growth within the municipal (public money) infrastructure market by partnering with major engineering entities. This role provides technical expertise, supports design development, and ensures RP products are specified in municipal projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and public works projects. In summary, the job is to define and execute sales strategies to increase RP’s market penetration via new and existing municipal focused major accounts throughout North America. Role Description As the Packaging Business Development Manager in Ruhrpumpen (RP), you will be responsible for growing sales and market presence for custom engineered system solutions. Often, skid mounted engineered systems may include pumps, controls, piping, valves, instrumentation, etc. RP’s engineered system capabilities extend well beyond complex pumping systems to include system solutions that may not even include pumps. Typical RP engineered system applications include: - Hot oil - Process cooling - Oil pipeline - Boiler feed - And much more This role will target both existing RP customers, who are knowledgeable of RP’s extensive pump offering, as well as provide RP another avenue to approach new customers where engineered system solutions are more in line with their needs. The customer base includes: - Process engineers - Consultants - Mechanical engineers - Rotating equipment engineers - Potential OEM customers This role requires: - Technical knowledge of system requirements - Understanding of major markets and their needs (energy/oil and gas, power generation, chemical, industrial fluid management, etc.) - Ability to develop commercial strategies to grow Engineered Systems sales - Market intelligence transfer to RP’s global sales engineering team Main responsibilities include: - Analyze market trends and competitor activities - Identify customers that work with engineered system packagers - Develop market entry strategies for new regions - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels - Conduct high-level meetings and technical-commercial presentations - Impart knowledge to existing RP sales engineering teams - Act as the main point of contact during early project development stages This role will involve dealing with many RP internal teams, specifically: - External Sales Engineers - Internal Sales Engineers - Sales Management - Operations - Field Services - Legal Ensure alignment between technical capability and customer needs.
