This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description The Paid Media Associate Manager at Rocket Clicks is a high-ownership role for someone ready to grow fast. Reporting to the Paid Media Manager, you’ll manage digital advertising campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms for Family Law Firm clients — owning performance on your accounts while progressively building the strategic and leadership skills that define a Rocket Clicks Manager. What sets this role apart is how deliberately we invest in your growth. At Rocket Clicks, Associate Managers become Managers by doing the work — sprint ownership, team leadership, client communication, performance accountability — not by waiting their turn. There’s no tenure clock here: as you demonstrate competence, new responsibility follows. We provide the environment, the reps, and the coaching. You bring the drive and the hunger to grow. If you want to outpace a traditional career timeline and own the pace of your own advancement, this role was built for you. This role is also the front door to people leadership. The natural next step for a strong Associate Manager at Rocket Clicks is managing a team — and we'll be actively developing you toward that. Key Responsibilities & Objectives - Campaign Execution & Optimization - Execute Rocket Clicks’ paid media playbooks and methodology across assigned accounts. - Build, launch, and manage campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic ad platforms. - Optimize performance through data analysis, bid adjustments, audience segmentation, and creative testing. - Maintain accurate pacing against budgets, tracking, and delivery settings. - Partner with design and creative teams to brief and deliver high-performing ad assets. - Performance Management & Reporting - Monitor daily and weekly campaign performance, proactively surfacing risks and opportunities to your Paid Media Manager. - Conduct regular account audits to validate strategy alignment and identify gaps or new opportunities. - Support conversion tracking setup, QA, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy. - Contribute to monthly and quarterly performance reporting, growing toward independent report ownership on assigned accounts. - Collaboration, Communication & Client Support - Join client calls for assigned accounts alongside the Account Manager, building client communication skills in a lower-stakes environment. - Handle asynchronous client questions and account updates in partnership with the Account Manager. - Collaborate with your Paid Media Manager to translate client goals into actionable campaign tasks. - Work cross-functionally with SEO and Project Management teams to ensure paid media efforts integrate with broader marketing strategies. - Document client-specific learnings, experiments, and playbook updates. - Leadership Development & Operational Excellence - Participate in sprint planning and, over time, take ownership of planning and delegating tasks to Paid Media support team members. - Support the development of support team members by sharing feedback, best practices, and learnings from your accounts. - Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process efficiency. - Contribute to team documentation, SOPs, and ongoing process refinement. - Grow toward owning the full operational cadence of a book of accounts — the foundation for your path to Manager. Success Metrics (KPIs) - On Time Rate: Your work hits deadlines consistently. We measure the ratio of overdue tasks to total assigned — because late deliverables ripple into client outcomes and erode trust on both sides of the relationship. - Rework Rate: Quality matters as much as speed. We track how often completed work needs to be redone, because low rework signals deep task competence and keeps momentum high for clients and teammates alike. - Sprint Points Delivered: Volume is the third leg of the stool. On-time, high-quality work only creates impact when the output is actually there — we track sprint points delivered to make sure speed and quality are never quietly traded for each other. Qualifications - Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and similar platforms. - Comfortable interpreting campaign data and translating it into clear actions and recommendations. - Builds and manages campaigns with precision — tracking, settings, and budget pacing are consistently accurate. - Actively seeks feedback, learns quickly, and takes on new responsibilities with confidence. - Able to clearly communicate performance updates to teammates and, increasingly, to clients. Education - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. - 2–4 years of professional experience in digital marketing, with direct, verifiable paid media experience required. Experience - Hands-on experience building and managing paid media campaigns, whether in a dedicated paid media role or as a generalist with clear, verifiable paid media responsibility. - Demonstrated success managing campaigns for local consumer (B2C) or small business accounts, ideally in competitive or service-based industries. - Familiarity with conversion tracking, analytics, and performance reporting using tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio. - Proficiency in Google Ads required; experience with Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Ads, or programmatic platforms (StackAdapt, Simpli.fi) a plus. - Strong understanding of audience targeting, budget pacing, and campaign optimization fundamentals. - Prior agency or client-facing experience preferred but not required. - Proven experience working within project management tools (ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana) as part of a cross-functional team is a big plus. Benefits - Unlimited PTO & Sick Leave - Medical Insurance (including FSA & HSA Options) - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - 401(k) (with a company match) - Life Insurance - Long-term Disability - Short-term Disability Schedule Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM CST Work Location Remote-US

Paid Media Associate Manager

The Ideal Candidate You’ve been running paid media campaigns for a while now — maybe as the only digital marketer at a small business, or as part of a larger team where you weren’t getting the reps you needed to grow. Either way, you have real hands-on experience, and you know you’re ready to do more than just execute someone else’s plan. ‘Good enough’ has never sat right with you. When a campaign underperforms, you don’t just flag it and move on — you want to understand exactly what happened and fix it. When something works, you want to know why, so you can do it again. The data isn’t just numbers to you; it’s a story worth reading. You’re ambitious in the right way. Not reckless — hungry. You want to be trusted with more responsibility, learn how to lead accounts, and eventually run your own book of business. You see becoming a manager as the natural next step, not a distant goal, and you’re willing to bet on yourself. If you’re looking for a place that will invest in your growth and give you a clear, real path from specialist to manager, you’ll feel right at home here.
