Role Description The Field Service Engineer provides an advanced level of service and consultation to the customer’s applications needs related to biomedical processes. This position performs advanced troubleshooting and optimization, while maintaining best in class quality standards. It also delivers our value proposition to the customer to secure recurring business, customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty. This is a remote / field position that will require extensive travel through the Mid-Atlantic region. - Provide in-depth advice on customer applications for optimal performance results - Perform consultative support for new installations, equipment calibrations, including remote monitoring and feeding technology - Service the mechanical installation and secure performance and reliability of pumps, piping, chemical feed systems, storage tanks and other connected systems - Maintain and develop the relationship with customers and key stakeholders along with the sales account manager - Deliver customer technical training as required - Identify new business opportunities and transfer sales leads to the sales teams - Provide comprehensive customer service report according to RMC policies using RMC tools - Properly maintain all Company-owned equipment e.g. tools, instruments, safety equipment and vehicle - Complete all administrative requirements including basic skills/safety training courses - Manage inventory / supplies required at customer site - Deliver upon service KPIs, including safety, productivity, customer satisfaction - Secure conditions for safe operations, according to existing RMC & Customer policies, procedures - Perform similar/related duties as needed Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field required - Valid driver’s license Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of maintenance, sanitation, biomed related experience required - Expert knowledge of food and beverage sanitation or Biomed sanitation practices, and terminology Skills - Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills - Deep knowledge base in cooling, boiler, wastewater and food sanitation - Proficient in the use of monitoring and diagnostic tools - Able to build professional customer presentations using MS Office tools - CRM software Competencies - Analytical - Problem Solving - Planning, priority setting, and time management - Autonomous - Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment - Quality and detail oriented - Teamwork - Transparency in communication Physical Requirements / Working Conditions - Sit or stand for extended periods of time - Capability to move up to 60 lbs. by hand and 300 lbs. with use of hand truck - Ability to climb stairs and ladders - Visual acuity necessary to utilize computers and electronic devices - Extra hours and some travel may be required

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within district • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets of district • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned district • Lead and manage districts FSE team to deliver exceptional on-site customer support • Coordinate district’s service schedules as needed, ensuring timely delivery of on-site services and solutions • Support the use of RMC product technology including corrosion and scale inhibitors • Develop and implement objectives in conformance with overall division goals for profitable sales growth, customer service, and personnel development • P&L responsibility for the district including sales forecast and budget, analysis of market potential, and industry opportunities • Manage team core competencies including technical knowledge, business management, and sales methods toward specific territory sales targets • Develop personnel, evaluate team performance, and make recommendations designed to attract, motivate, and retain qualified individuals • Keep abreast of the latest technology, product development, marketing and sales through reading, attendance at seminars and conferences, etc. • Embrace and model RMC values and culture • Other duties as required
