Role Description We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal & People Ops Specialist to support Ritual’s Legal and People teams. Reporting to the Director of Legal, this role sits at the intersection of HR, compliance, and legal operations—ensuring strong infrastructure, seamless processes, and a high standard of confidentiality and care. You will play a critical role in managing documentation and processes across both the Legal and People departments. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively across sensitive employee and legal matters. What you'll do - People Operations - Support HR administration activities including maintenance of employee records, support for HRIS data integrity, creation and processing of employee lifecycle documentation (i.e., change letters, compliance records, performance documentation, etc). - Monitor and maintain internal employee investigation and complaint tracking systems (e.g., ER tracker, anonymous ethics hotline or similar tools), with professionalism and discretion. - Maintain HR policies and process documentation across platforms (e.g., employee handbook, performance management guides and manager tools), with regular audits for accuracy and consistency. - Manage People Support inbox to intake, triage and route employee requests appropriately. - Support special projects with Sr Director of People as required. - Legal Operations - Own intake, triage, and routing of contracts, vendor agreements, and NDAs between internal and external counsel, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency. - Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all legal documents, including contracts, agreements, correspondence, and filings, ensuring accuracy and version control. - Provide general legal administrative support (e.g. administrative workflows, scheduling meetings between internal stakeholders and external counsel as required). - Maintain and update Legal knowledge base on Notion, and shared resources for consistency and accuracy. - Support special projects in partnership with Director of Legal as required. What you'll need - 3–6 years of experience in Legal Operations, People Operations, HR, Support & Administration for Legal or People Executives, or a related field. - Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills. - Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Experience managing and prioritizing multiple workflows and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace and HRIS Platforms (e.g., Rippling). Preferred Qualifications - Experience with or exposure to employment law fundamentals, HR best practices, HRIS systems (e.g., employee relations, people operations). - Paralegal experience, or exposure to contract management and legal documentation processes. Compensation Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000. Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. • Spearhead integration of Ritual’s cutting-edge AI infrastructure with partner applications and protocols, expanding the network's reach and impact • Support the full-scale partner integration lifecycle: including initial scoping, product integration and development, deployment, and maintenance • Provide technical support to partners, develop reusable best practices and standards, and work with partners to identify and build new products and usage patterns tailored to their use cases • Extend and maintain comprehensive documentation for our integration APIs and SDKs • Interface with various technologies, including AI/ML, distributed systems, and blockchain, to deliver robust integration solutions • Evaluate and adopt new tooling and technologies to improve any of the functionalities detailed above
• Scale up model inference and running predictions at scale on cutting-edge models • Work end to end to connect ML models to human interfaces (e.g. APIs, browsers, and applications) • Designing and implementing large-scale data and ML pipelines through a full end-to-end product development lifecycle • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations teammates to create cutting-edge products
• Building and maintaining core smart contract frameworks and libraries • Managing smart-contract release lifecycles; from architecting to audit to post-release • Spearheading research into novel smart contract functionality beyond the EVM • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, researchers, product managers, and operations teammates to create best-in-class products
• Build the legal function from the ground up, including creating policies, processes, and templates to support the company’s growth. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on legal, regulatory, and business matters • Oversee corporate governance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices. Draft and manage board resolutions, minutes, and shareholder agreements • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including commercial, vendor, partnership, and employment contracts. Establish a contract management system to streamline workflows and improve efficiency • Develop and maintain compliance programs, particularly in areas related to GDPR, AML, OFAC, etc. Ensure adherence to data privacy, employment law, and intellectual property laws • Stay updated on regulatory developments that impact the company, particularly within blockchain/AI. Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance risks proactively • Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Handle disputes, litigation, and external counsel engagement as needed • Support fundraising activities by providing legal guidance on term sheets, stock issuance, and investor agreements. • Architect and build the foundational tools that enable developers to efficiently build on our infrastructure • Create the development frameworks, testing environments, and automation tools for seamless integration with Ritual's AI and blockchain capabilities • Design and implement best-in-class development frameworks that do for AI-enabled chains what Foundry did for the EVM • Identify friction points in the developer journey and build solutions to address them • Build lightning-fast local development environments that make testing against Ritual as seamless as working with tools like anvil • Create elegant CLIs and SDKs that make complex AI and blockchain interactions feel natural • Craft developer tooling that makes deploying and testing AI-enabled smart contracts a joy • Design and implement powerful debugging and simulation capabilities for AI-blockchain interactions • Write clear, engaging documentation and tutorials that get developers from zero to hero • Run workshops and hackathons to energize the developer community and gather direct feedback • Build and nurture an active open-source community around our development tools
• Design and implement distributed systems components for Ritual's heterogeneous compute network • Develop and optimize peer-to-peer networking protocols optimized for AI model execution and blockchain consensus • Build and maintain infrastructure for node monitoring, metrics collection, and system observability • Architect solutions for efficient state management and synchronization across specialized nodes • Collaborate with the research team to implement novel distributed systems algorithms • Create robust testing frameworks for distributed system components
• Build sophisticated interfaces that enable developers to interact with our AI and blockchain infrastructure • Rapidly build prototypes built on top of Ritual Chain • Create intuitive dashboards and monitoring tools for complex distributed systems • Design and implement transaction monitoring interfaces that visualize the complete lifecycle across Ritual's infrastructure • Build and maintain dashboard interfaces for node deployment, monitoring, and management • Develop web applications that enable users to provision and manage customized node infrastructure • Create responsive dashboards for real-time monitoring of distributed compute resources • Design and implement DeFi-style interfaces for protocol interactions • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create seamless user experiences • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members • Writing efficient, high-quality code that maintains high standards for user experience

• Develop and optimize integrated marketing strategies to grow healthcare provider (HCP) awareness, engagement, and revenue (conferences, CE events, webinars, email, digital & print campaigns) • Manage and expand Ritual’s presence on Fullscript, including advertising campaign execution, performance reporting, and vendor coordination • Lead 5+ national HCP conferences annually, overseeing strategy, logistics, budgeting, branding, and lead generation • Proven experience executing HCP marketing campaigns and leading the creative development process including submitting creative briefs and providing copy and design feedback and direction • Drive creative development of HCP-focused content across web, digital, print, and events • Partner cross-functionally (Regulatory, Scientific, Creative, Product) to deliver compliant, evidence-based HCP programs and claims • Support practitioner engagement through Ritual’s HCP community initiatives • Travel to HCP trade shows/conferences, 15-20% annually
