Relay

• Own outreach to new leads and refine the pitch to prospective partners • Identify and own partnership conversations, including technical topics • Manage early proposal stages through to commercial contract negotiations and signing • Work closely with product, marketing, data and leadership to smoothly move partners into implementation stage • Support responsiveness and relationship management for VIP partners

• Own front-line support in specific time zone hours • Respond to customer tickets with clarity and care • Investigate issues using Relay's backend logs, transaction records, and block explorers • Build fluency with on-chain transaction flows for end users and integrators • Escalate the right issues to engineering with enough context • Turn recurring customer issues into process improvements, internal documentation, and feedback for product and engineering

• Own Relay's security posture • Lead threat modeling, vulnerability management, access controls, and dependency auditing • Map Relay's attack surface and document gaps • Harden CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, and least-privilege access • Build and maintain observability • Instrument monitoring, alerting, and dashboards that give the team real-time visibility into Relay's health • Define and enforce SLOs by setting availability and performance targets, and drive the team to meet them • Lead incident response • Own the incident response process end to end: triage when things break, run postmortems, and make sure the same issue doesn't happen twice • Drive compliance readiness • Prepare Relay for customer security reviews and formal certifications (SOC 2, etc.) • Embed security and reliability practices into team culture as we grow

• Own the Relay narrative and brand: articulate what we do, why it matters, and how we win • Lead B2B marketing and GTM positioning: drive enterprise adoption, shape how partners understand Relay, and support integrations with clear, insight-driven messaging • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team across creative, content, growth, and communications

• Build the accounting infrastructure • Design and own Relay's in-house crypto accounting layer — cost basis, FIFO/LIFO treatment, on-chain transaction recognition, and multi-asset reconciliation • Define how Relay Fees, Gas Fees, and Rebalance Fees are captured with FMV, coin, timestamp, and rate at transaction level • Partner with Data and Engineering to build the wallet inventory, balance sheet inputs, and financial tables that underpin the P&L • Own the close process • Run month-end and quarter-end close end-to-end: P&L, balance sheet and reconciliation • Establish mark-to-market processes and on-chain reconciliation across all wallets and chains • Drive toward a complete, auditable financials

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in crypto and/or finance to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of our cross-chain infrastructure product Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems for our cross-chain relayer. Ensure performance and responsiveness of the platform, handling large-scale data processing. Crypto Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with various blockchain networks and crypto protocols. Qualifications:

• Transform raw blockchain and production data into clean, reliable datasets • Own core analytics models across our medallion architecture • Partner with data engineering on ingestion pipelines • Model transaction data across dozens of chains (swaps, bridges, fees, capital flows) • Integrate pricing feeds and partner data for competitive analysis • Gather requirements from product, business, and operations teams • Design and standardize key metrics • Build dashboards and enable self-service analytics
