AI Solutions Consultant
QuandriStreamline, optimize and improve your personal lines renewal process with Quandri’s Renewal Intelligence Platform.
Who we are Our mission at Quandri is to transform insurance into a trusted and delightful experience using AI. We’re doing this by delivering an AI operating system for North America's leading insurance agencies and brokerages. What we do Quandri is transforming the insurance experience for policyholders across North America by providing AI to the industry's critical stakeholders — insurance agencies and brokerages. Insurance agents are the lifeblood of the insurance industry, and are where most Property & Casualty insurance is sold and serviced. Yet, there are forces making it harder than ever for them to operate; more consolidation, rising talent crisis, increasing complexity of insurance and the AI revolution are significant challenges for how agencies have typically operated. This challenge is a massive opportunity to rethink how insurance agencies operate. Quandri is at the cutting edge of this change, delivering real transformation to the entire insurance experience one process at a time through the deep understanding of insurance workflows, systems and data paired with deep technical capabilities and proprietary models. We're making insurance better for policyholders, while helping insurance brokerages deliver a better client service, grow faster, and harness AI so that they control the future of insurance distribution. Why join us? We are moving fast and focused on customer impact. You will enjoy and be successful at Quandri if you: - Have a deep customer focused mindset - Can operate in a fast paced environment where change and innovation is a constant - Take high levels of ownership in everything you do - Have AI-first thinking and want to apply AI to solve the world's problems of tomorrow - Operate with urgency, and aren't afraid to move fast and make some mistakes along the way - Are low ego, and believe more in achieving the best outcome for our customers and achieving big goals as a team - Want to have a big impact, and are not content with making changes at the edges Our head office is in Vancouver BC, with 3/4 of our team working here and the rest distributed across North America. We're backed by leading US and Canadian investors, are growing fast, and have a few awards to prove it: - LinkedIn’s Top Canadian Startups in 2024 & 2025 - Deloitte’s Fast 50 - CB Insights’ Insurtech 50 and Fintech 100 - Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies in Canada About the Role We're looking for an AI Solutions Consultant to be the bridge between the complex, messy reality of how insurance agencies operate and Quandri's capabilities. Insurance agencies run on deeply embedded agency management systems with layers of rules, logic, and customized workflows. Our product integrates into these systems, but selling and deploying it requires someone who can walk into a large agency, deeply understand how they operate, map their chaos to our platform, and build a clear plan that the customer believes in and our team can execute against. This role is primarily sales-aligned (~70%), sitting in enterprise deals alongside our sales team to architect solutions, build business cases, and drive closed deals. The remaining ~30% involves partnering with Customer Success on post-sale implementation, and advising on adoption and change management within large agencies. This is a team-of-one role to start, with the expectation that this team will grow over time. Location: Remote, North America What you'll do: - Own the solutions consulting function — build it from scratch, define the playbook, and establish how Quandri delivers change and success for enterprise agencies. - Partner with sales in enterprise deals — join discovery calls, map customer workflows, design tailored solutions, and present compelling technical and business cases that demonstrate clear ROI - Translate agency complexity into actionable plans — take the chaos of how large insurance agencies operate (their AMS configurations, renewal workflows, carrier relationships, staffing models) and architect a clear implementation roadmap using Quandri's platform - Drive expansion revenue — work with existing enterprise customers to identify new use cases, design solutions for additional workflows, and support the sales team in closing expansion deals - Advise on adoption and change management — partner with Implementation and Customer Success to help large agencies successfully adopt Quandri, overcome internal resistance, and drive meaningful utilization across their organization - Be the voice of the customer internally — bring deep agency insights back to Product, Engineering, and leadership to shape our roadmap and go-to-market strategy The right person for this role will have: - Deep understanding of insurance agency operations — you've worked in, sold to, or consulted for P&C insurance agencies or brokerages and understand how they actually run day-to-day. You know the difference between how agencies say they operate and how they actually operate. - Experience in enterprise solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales — you've sat in complex deal cycles and helped customers see how technology maps to their specific problems. This could be from within a business on the implementation side, or in a selling position. - Comfort with complexity — you thrive in ambiguous, messy environments where there's no playbook yet. You can walk into a large agency with 15 locations and 6 different workflows and build clarity out of confusion. - Strong business acumen — you can have a credible conversation with an agency principal about their P&L, growth strategy, and operational challenges, not just their tech stack. - Ability to drive change — you understand the organizational dynamics of large agencies and know how to get buy-in from leadership, middle management, and front-line staff. - Builder mentality — you're energized by creating something from nothing. You want to define the function, not inherit one. - Excellent communication skills — you can present to a room of agency executives, write a compelling solution proposal, and whiteboard a technical architecture with equal confidence. Bonus points if you have - Experience with Applied Epic or Vertafore AMS360 - Background in insurtech, or selling/implementing technology into insurance agencies Our guiding principles: - Customers at the core. We put the customer at the center of all we do. At a basic level, we believe business success comes down to talking to customers and building something they want. We don't listen to customers and just take what they say blindly, but we think critically about it and build what they need. Customers are the core of everything we do, and our business exists to serve them. We prioritize their needs over all else within the company. - Move with urgency. There are times when we need to move slowly and deliberately, but we default to acting fast and with urgency. We slow down when necessary, but this should be a deliberate choice. Businesses become more lethargic as they grow, this principle is designed to fight this fact. - Be curious. We understand the world by being curious and asking why. We aren't satisfied with surface level understanding, and seek a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. Don't take someone's word for it or the answer "because that's how we do it." Understand why and dig deep. - Excellence in execution. We know that what separates good from great is a high level of execution. We commit ourselves to excellence in everything that we do, from delivering an amazing product to writing a great email. - Act like an owner. We're all owners of the business and act like it. We follow through on commitments, own our results and think for simplicity. The law of increasing functional information states that systems evolve to become more complex over time. At Quandri, we believe there is sophistication in simplicity; as such, we intentionally fight for streamlined solutions and are committed to the uncomplicated. - Fight for simplicity. Senior Product Manager
QuandriStreamline, optimize and improve your personal lines renewal process with Quandri’s Renewal Intelligence Platform.
This description is a summary of our understanding of the job description. Click on 'Apply' button to find out more. Role Description The Senior Product Manager is accountable for driving client retention outcomes across our Requoting product area. You will own the US Requoting product through its initial market launch and scale Canadian Requoting to serve our growing customer base. This role combines 0-to-1 product development for the US market with scaling an established product in Canada. You will execute on product area strategy, lead discovery programs, and drive execution that directly impacts broker retention rates and operational efficiency. You will report to our Lead Product Manager and partner closely with engineering, design, implementation, and customer success to ship value in consistent cycles. Your success will be measured by successful scaling of our US Requoting product, not feature completion. What You'll Do - Product Roadmap Ownership: - Execute on the Requoting product area strategy by translating strategic direction into explicit hypotheses linking product changes to client retention metrics. - Balance customer value, business impact, and technical considerations across US and Canadian markets. - Maintain a rolling roadmap that reflects discovery learnings and outcome priorities. - Discovery and Validation: - Design and execute discovery programs that inform outcome-focused roadmaps. - Identify non-obvious customer needs through direct research with brokers. - Ensure prototype validation before engineering commitment. - Connect problems to measurable retention and efficiency outcomes. - Solution Definition: - Define solution approaches for complex, ambiguous problems in insurance requoting workflows. - Make sound scope tradeoffs that optimize for outcome learning. - Evaluate AI-first approaches where they accelerate broker efficiency or improve quote accuracy. - Cross-Functional Leadership: - Influence product direction through data and compelling outcome-based arguments. - Drive alignment across engineering, design, implementation, and customer success toward shared retention goals. - Create transparency about priorities, tradeoffs, and progress. - Partner with Implementation to ensure product decisions account for broker onboarding complexity and BMS integration requirements. - Go-to-Market Execution: - Own ongoing US market go-to-market iteration, building on our initial launch foundation. - Partner with Marketing and Enablement to refine positioning and customer communications based on market feedback. - Iterate rapidly when outcomes are not met. - Measurement and Iteration: - Own Requoting product area metrics with accountability for improvement. - Design measurement frameworks that connect feature usage to client retention. - Identify root causes when outcomes fall short. - Maintain 30-day shipping cycles with continuous learning loops. Qualifications - 5-7 years of product management experience with proven track record of shipping products that drive measurable business outcomes in fast-paced environments. - Experience owning a product area end-to-end, including discovery, execution, and outcome accountability. - Demonstrated ability to launch new products (0-to-1) or scale early-stage products with ambiguous requirements and limited historical data. - Strong discovery skills with experience running customer research that uncovers root problems rather than surface requests. - Ability to define and prioritize based on outcome hypotheses, not feature requests. - Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority. - Comfort with data analysis and ability to design measurement frameworks that connect product changes to business outcomes. - Excellent communication skills with ability to create transparency about priorities and tradeoffs for technical and non-technical audiences. - Bias toward action with comfort operating in ambiguous environments and making decisions with imperfect information. - Comfort with AI-first prototyping tools and workflows (e.g., Replit, Lovable, Make, Claude Code) for rapid solution exploration and validation. Bonus Points if You Have - Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries with complex B2B workflows. - Experience with multi-market products (US/Canada or similar). - Familiarity with broker management systems or insurance agency operations. - Previous experience at high-growth, venture-backed companies. Location We strongly prefer candidates based in Vancouver, where you'll work from our Olympic Village office three days per week. For the right candidate, we're open to remote arrangements within the US or Canada, with a requirement to travel to Vancouver at least once per quarter for team collaboration. Why This Role Matters Client retention is existential for insurance brokerages. When a policyholder leaves, the broker loses recurring revenue and the relationship built over years. Requoting transforms how brokers proactively identify at-risk clients and take action before it's too late. You will own a product area that directly impacts whether our customers keep their clients. Every percentage point of improved retention translates to meaningful revenue for brokerages and better outcomes for the policyholders they serve. This role offers the rare combination of launching a new market (US) while scaling proven value (Canada), with clear metrics that tie your work to customer success. Our Guiding Principles - Customers at the core: We put the customer at the center of all we do. - Move with urgency: We default to acting fast and with urgency. - Be curious: We understand the world by being curious and asking why. - Excellence in execution: What separates good from great is a high level of execution. - Act like an owner: We're all owners of the business and act like it. - Fight for simplicity: We believe there is sophistication in simplicity. Compensation and Benefits - $140,000 - $160,000 a year - Base pay: $140,000-$160,000 CAD for Vancouver-based candidates, dependent on experience and performance. - Employee stock options based on experience level. - Comprehensive health benefits, including Lifestyle Spending Account. - Four weeks of paid vacation per year. - Work anywhere in the world for 60 days of the year. - Parental leave top-ups: 6 months for birthing parents, 8 weeks for non-birthing parents (up to $100,000 annual salary). - Enhanced mental health benefits through Dialogue, providing unlimited access to mental health practitioners at no cost.
