• Own client infrastructure projects end to end: intake, scoping, work breakdown, scheduling, budget tracking, risk management, change management, and closeout. • Build project plans that map work to the right tier: L2 for endpoint and site work, L3 for server and platform execution. • Manage the L2 Field Support Technicians and L3 Systems Administrators assigned to your projects. • Coordinate platform administrators and Senior Engineers in a matrix model. • Coach engineers on delivery discipline: change records, runbooks, and client communication that holds up in front of a CMMC or SOC 2 assessor. • Challenge estimates and plans with technical specifics, then commit to the accountable engineer. • Participate in design reviews, enforce the approved design during execution, and route proposed deviations back to the Principal Solutions Architect. • Run client communication for project work: kickoffs, status reporting, change windows, and delay conversations. • Integrate compliance into delivery: change control on CUI-relevant systems and assessor-ready closeout packages aligned to NIST 800-171. • Coordinate vendors and carriers inside project scope.

• Design and implement network and security infrastructure across multi-site environments: campus, branch, datacenter, and cloud-connected architectures. • Manage firewall platforms at scale: Palo Alto with Panorama, Fortinet with FortiManager, Cisco ASA/FTD, Juniper SRX, and Sophos XG/XGS. • Configure and maintain enterprise switching and routing (BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, VLANs, spanning tree, QoS) across Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Juniper EX, Aruba, and Meraki platforms. • Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions, including failover design, policy routing, and carrier diversity. • Apply network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust access controls in support of CMMC L2, NIST 800-171, and SOC 2 compliance requirements. • Conduct firewall policy audits, rule cleanup, and hardening reviews; produce documentation that satisfies compliance evidence requirements. • Support VPN and remote access infrastructure (IPsec, SSL/TLS, GlobalProtect, FortiClient) across client environments. • Respond to network security incidents, assist with forensic review, and implement corrective controls. • Integrate network security tooling: IDS/IPS, NAC (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass), SIEM log forwarding, and event correlation. • Translate compliance requirements into network policy: map NIST 800-171 and CMMC L2 controls to firewall rules, segmentation boundaries, and access enforcement. • Produce network diagrams, runbooks, and change documentation that meet audit standards and enable other engineers to maintain what you build. • Travel to client sites up to 25% for major project-based deployments.

• Design, implement, and support on-premises and hybrid cloud environments: bare metal, virtualization, SAN and HCI storage, backup and recovery, and hardened Windows Server configurations • Deploy and maintain Windows Server environments on bare metal and virtualized platforms: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Proxmox • Design and implement SAN and HCI solutions and manage high-speed fabric infrastructure • Architect and operate hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Azure • Own backup and disaster recovery implementations: design, deployment, testing, and documentation • Apply STIG hardening and NIST 800-171 controls across Windows Server environments • Support the infrastructure layer beneath the line-of-business and ERP applications • Own the SQL Server platform layer for client ERP and applications • Support the infrastructure layer for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops • Produce documentation that meets audit standards and enables other engineers to maintain what you build

Location: Boulder, CO or Remote Schedule: Full-time Salary: $100-160k Equity: 0.1-0.5% About the role We are seeking a QA engineer to develop and expand the QA function at Quadratic. The ideal candidate has experience contributing to QA in fast-growing companies. Ideally, the candidate has experience with both manual QA and QA automation through Playwright and can lead QA for our complex product, where every change has a downstream effect on numerous interactions. The candidate must be able to thrive in a rapidly changing startup environment. Key responsibilities 1. Automated testing Actively build and maintain our end-to-end (E2E) test suite (Playwright): this should test thousands of interactions in the application, both big and small. We currently have hundreds of tests and want to create many more. 2. Manual testing Use Quadratic every day - continuously test the product manually to identify gaps in our automated testing and bugs before they reach users.
