Role Description Purolator International is seeking a Strategic Sales Executive to drive net-new business growth within the Healthcare vertical . This role is designed for a self-directed, strategic sales professional who thrives in complex, solution-based selling and is motivated by building new customer relationships and long-term value. This position focuses on identifying, developing, and closing high-impact transportation and supply chain opportunities with healthcare organizations across North America, including: - Providers - Health systems - Pharmacies - Distributors - Medical supply organizations Success in this role comes from deep vertical knowledge, strong executive presence, and the ability to connect logistics and supply chain solutions to measurable business outcomes. What You'll Do - Own and grow a new business pipeline within the Healthcare vertical through self-generated prospecting and strategic outreach. - Develop customized, value-based solutions across Courier, LTL, Cross-Border, Logistics, and Supply Chain services. - Engage senior-level and executive stakeholders to understand operational, financial, and clinical supply chain needs. - Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles by translating logistics solutions into business and financial impact. - Build and maintain strong relationships across clinical, supply chain, pharmacy, and executive leadership teams. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, Revenue Management, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to close opportunities. - Leverage data, AI tools, and social-selling strategies to identify high-value targets and personalize engagement. - Attend healthcare industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and maintain market fluency. - Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account plans within CRM tools. Qualifications - Proven experience selling to or supporting healthcare organizations, such as health systems, hospitals, IDNs, pharmacies, or pharmaceutical distribution. - Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain complexity, including time-critical deliveries, compliance, and operational risk. - Comfort engaging with healthcare executives and cross-functional decision-makers. Requirements - 5+ years of progressive experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account acquisition. - Demonstrated success in hunter-led, net-new logo acquisition. - Strong background in solution selling and value-based sales methodologies. - Financial acumen with the ability to connect solutions to revenue, cost, and operational efficiency. - Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with enterprise or multinational customers. - Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), forecasting, and pipeline management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills. - Ability to work independently while collaborating across internal teams. Role Description The primary responsibility of this role is to provide coordination and oversight of all domestic air and ground, as well as import and export shipments at gateway, including shipment and document preparation, booking, coordination of customs clearance, and pick-up and delivery in a 24/7/365 environment. This is a remote position and we are open to various locations. This role is an overnight shift which includes a 1 hour break. - Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Monday: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM - Tuesday: 10:45 PM – 7:00 AM Responsibilities - Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments based on client requirements, via phone and email, ensuring coverage of assigned shifts in a 24/7/365 environment. - Coordination with agents, carriers, and brokers to procure scheduling and rates, as well as administration of these activities. - Routing of shipments and preparation of pre-alert documentation. - Booking of all air and ground shipments with appropriate agent/carrier. - Coordinates pick-up and delivery of shipments with shipper/consignee. - Enters all shipments and related information into the applicable TMS as required in a timely manner ensuring milestones are available in real-time. - Follow up on all shipments to ensure customer commitments are met. - Validate that critical connections are made. React to any delays to keep shipments moving. - Update clients and others (sales, CRR’s, etc.) of changes in status. - Document preparation specific to a given shipment, including but not limited to BOL, MAWB, HAWB, Commercial Invoice, and Certification of Origin. - Develop pricing and routing for ground, NFO air freight including cargo airlines, passenger airlines, chartered aircraft, deferred air freight, OBC. - Build and maintain relationships with customers, agents, and carriers. - Prepare competitive and market-based solutions. - Prepare and analyze reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as required. - As a 24/7/365 operation, have a willingness to be flexible with scheduling and available to respond to and meet customer needs outside of traditional working hours. Qualifications - 3 years experience in time-critical logistics environment, preferably air/express/courier or same-day logistics. - Strong working knowledge of Import/Export operations, including point‑to‑point movements. - Make quick decisions and innovative solutions to complex client logistics needs. - Strong customer service skills (world class Customer service, performant under pressure, swift thinker, multitasker, attention to details, self-motivated, collaborative). - Previous experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word/Excel. - Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a high stress environment. - Ability to work independently. - Collaborate with all team members to get shipments from point A to point B with a team mindset. - Demonstrate the ability to quickly move from one task to another and be successful under pressure. - Dangerous Goods knowledge (strongly preferred). Education - Bachelor’s degree and/or a min of 3 years of position-related, logistics experience is required. Salary The base salary range for this role is $56,000 to $67,000. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
