Role Description As a Coding Specialist, you will conduct audits of physician/provider documentation and coding for office and surgical procedure encounters. You will research and communicate government and private insurance carrier coding/billing policies and provide regularly scheduled education for providers and staff on appropriate coding and billing. In this role, you will review code change requests and conduct review of coding denials or other payer requests. Role Description The Financial Clearance Analyst is responsible for conducting financial analytics into the patient’s overall financial responsibility and insurance requirements as it relates to the upcoming scheduled service within the ProMedica Healthcare System. Comprehensive analysis will be based on: - Verification of the patient’s coverage - Determination of authorization and referral requirements of the payer - Calculation of the estimated patient responsibility The efforts of the Financial Clearance Analyst are to assure the patient will have a clear understanding of their estimated responsibility prior to services being rendered. Role Description As the Central Business Office (CBO) Specialist II, you will facilitate accurate provider credentialing, coding, billing, posting and collection for ProMedica Physicians and other supported entities. You will serve as a liaison between providers/office staff and hospitals or payor plans. You will maintain provider information in credentialing software and review and assign coding for professional services. In this role, you will perform a variety of registration, billing, follow-up and collection functions for all payors, including self-pay.
