Role Description Be the driving force behind the short-form content engine of established, fast-growing founder-led brands. You’ll work closely with Founders and client teams to turn raw talking-head videos, b-roll, voice notes, event footage, and brand assets into high-performing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other social platforms. Your work will directly help founder-led brands grow visibility, attract leads, increase audience engagement, and position themselves as trusted leaders in their industries through sharp, brand-aligned, platform-native content. Responsibilities - Short-Form Video Editing & Content Packaging - Transform raw talking-head and b-roll footage into engaging short-form videos with strong hooks, tight pacing, clean cuts, captions, and visual emphasis. - Edit platform-native videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other short-form content channels. - Create multiple short-form formats, including talking-head reels, b-roll remixes, caption-overlay reels, educational videos, founder-brand reels, and promotional clips. - Apply strong editing judgment around rhythm, music, transitions, pattern interrupts, zooms, framing, captions, and retention-focused pacing. - QA all videos before submission or publication to ensure clean captions, strong audio, correct formatting, brand alignment, and high-quality exports. - Graphic Design & Carousel Content - Design branded graphics, carousel posts, quote cards, reel covers, and promotional visuals aligned with each client’s brand guidelines. - Turn key ideas, frameworks, quotes, and educational concepts into simple, visually strong carousel content. - Create clean caption-overlay graphics and visual assets that support short-form video and social media campaigns. - Maintain consistency across typography, colors, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and overall brand style. - Ensure every graphic or carousel feels polished, platform-native, and aligned with the founder-led brand’s voice and positioning. - Content Creation & Management - Use AI to research trends, winning content references, viral short-form formats, competitor content, and creative angles. - Review raw content assets to identify strong hooks, clips, moments, b-roll sequences, and short-form content opportunities. - Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent, on-time publishing across social platforms. - Organize content assets, including raw footage, b-roll, edited videos, brand photos, graphics, captions, references, and creative briefs. - Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to generate first-draft hooks, captions, content angles, and short-form video ideas. - Social Media Engagement & Audience Management - Monitor, respond to, and engage with comments, messages, and mentions across social platforms. - Help maintain an active, consistent, and professional brand presence for founder-led brands. - Support audience growth by identifying relevant online communities, ICP profiles, warm connections, and engagement opportunities. - Set up and manage simple ManyChat automations for new followers, CTA opt-ins, and follow-up flows. - Track engagement patterns and audience feedback to identify what content is resonating and where improvements can be made. - Tracking & Reporting - Generate regular reports on content performance, audience growth, engagement, and short-form video results. - Track key metrics such as views, watch time, retention, saves, shares, comments, follows, profile visits, and leads generated. - Identify which hooks, formats, topics, editing styles, and visuals are performing best. - Provide clear insights and recommendations to improve future content performance. - Use AI to make reporting, performance analysis, and repeatable content workflows faster and more efficient. Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of virtual work experience in social media management, content management, or short-form video editing. - Strong short-form video editing portfolio, especially for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and founder-led personal brands. - Proven ability to transform raw talking-head footage, b-roll, event clips, and long-form recordings into polished, engaging, high-performing short-form videos. - Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, captions, sound design, b-roll usage, visual hierarchy, storytelling, and platform-native editing styles. - Ability to create multiple content formats, including talking-head reels, b-roll remixes, caption-overlay reels, carousel posts, educational videos, and promotional clips. - Proficient in tools such as CapCut, Descript, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, Figma, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Opus, or similar. - Excellent English, strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, creative judgment, visual taste, and the ability to work independently with founder-led brands. Results / KPIs - 100% adherence to the content production calendar, including edited, approved, and scheduled short-form videos. - Consistently strong QA pass rate on submitted content, with minimal captioning, formatting, audio, export, factual, or brand-alignment errors. - Efficient production of high-quality short-form video edits from raw talking-head footage, b-roll, long-form videos, events, and other raw content assets. - Consistent improvement in short-form video quality, including stronger hooks, sharper pacing, cleaner edits, better visual polish, and stronger brand alignment. - Increased short-form content performance across views, watch time, retention, saves, shares, comments, follows, profile visits, and leads generated. - <30-minute response time to social media comments, messages, and mentions during agreed working hours. - Accurate reporting of content performance metrics with clear insights and recommendations to improve future content. Work Schedule - You will either be hired on a part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) basis. - Shift times would be based on the founder’s timezone, which can be across North American, European, or Australia/Asia Pacific times. - Availability may be required around key content publishing windows, campaign launches, or time-sensitive social media engagement periods. - Hourly rate starting at 5 USD/hour. - Quarterly bonus eligibility, up to 800 USD or more per year. - Pay rise potential based on experience and performance. - Opportunity for higher one-off project fees on top of standard salary. - Work-from-home flexibility. - Access to training and career development. - Work alongside high-performing virtual teams and world-class Founders.
