• Manually test new pod features and releases before they ship. This is the core of the role. • Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, logs, screenshots, or other useful context. • Communicate with the right person on the team to help bugs get fixed, verified, and shipped to production. • Write automated tests for repeated checks, including end-to-end scripts and headless browser tests.

• Own frontend surfaces across all of pod's products. • Design and implement scalable, real-time UI architecture for data-intensive and high-volume workflows. • Build and maintain products including but not limited to order book interfaces, position management views, trade execution flows, explorers, onboarding flows, wallets, leaderboards, dashboards, and homepages. • Improve UX based on direct customer feedback and product intuition. • Set and uphold frontend standards for performance, code quality, and developer experience. • Collaborate with backend and protocol engineers on SDK and API design, and contribute full-stack improvements where needed. • Contribute to tooling, testing infrastructure, and CI/CD practices.

• Monitor the health and performance of the platform • Respond to production incidents and drive them through to resolution • Investigate failures, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes • Ensure issues are detected, understood, and addressed quickly • Identify recurring operational pain points and eliminate them • Improve software, deployment processes, and operational workflows • Participate in incident reviews and help drive preventative improvements • Contribute reliability-focused changes directly to production systems • Design and maintain dashboards, metrics, alerting, and monitoring systems • Improve signal quality while reducing alert fatigue • Build automation and internal tools that make the platform easier to operate • Help establish reliability best practices across the engineering organization

• Architect and Build: Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering processes, and state management. • Innovate: Address complex challenges in distributed systems and cryptography to enhance scalability and robustness. • Collaborate: Work closely with the founding team to iterate rapidly based on feedback from our integration partners and other members of the blockchain ecosystem. • Set Standards: Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices to ensure the system is efficient, scalable, and developer-friendly.
