Role Description Planet Nine Private Air is seeking a high-performing, self-directed Sales Manager to serve as the right hand to our Executive Director of Sales. This is a true manager-level role for a proven aviation sales professional who brings deep industry knowledge, and the ability to operate independently from day one. This person will work in close partnership with the Executive Director of Sales to drive revenue, own key client relationships, and support the strategic direction of the sales function. You will be expected to step in, add value immediately, and operate at an elevated level with minimal ramp time. If you need to be told what to do every day, this is not the role for you. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Own and manage a full sales cycle — quoting, negotiating, and closing charter trips across the Planet Nine fleet with urgency and precision. - Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, direct clients, and key industry contacts to drive repeat business and expand the client base. - Serve as the day-to-day right hand to the Executive Director of Sales supporting strategic sales planning, revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and executive-level client relationships. - Serve as a senior point of escalation for complex client needs, complaints, and high-value account management. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Client Services, and Flight Crew to ensure seamless trip execution and client satisfaction. - Lead and contribute to the ongoing development and training of junior sales team members. - Stay current on charter market trends, competitive landscape, and client demands through proactive research and strong industry networking. - Support credit control activities including tracking and following up on outstanding invoices. - Adhere to Planet Nine’s operational policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards by completing required training and maintaining compliance across all assigned duties. - Adapt to evolving priorities by performing additional tasks or projects as needed to support team and organizational goals. Qualifications - Proven track record of success in private aviation charter sales — this is non-negotiable. - Established broker and direct client network within the private aviation industry. - Ability to operate independently, make decisions with confidence, and manage competing priorities without close supervision. - Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presence. - Proficiency in aviation quoting, CRM, operating software — required. - High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with shifting priorities. - Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and elevate those around you. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. - 5+ years of private aviation charter sales experience at a senior level. - Experience operating as a senior partner to sales leadership — managing up, influencing cross-functionally, and representing the sales function internally and externally. - Knowledge of Part 135 operations and private aviation industry standards strongly preferred. Schedule Due to the on-demand nature of private aviation, this role requires flexibility to be available outside of standard business hours including evenings and weekends as operation needs arise. Core business hours apply Monday through Friday. Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time and travel to client meetings, industry events, and conferences as required. Travel Requirements Regular domestic and international travel as required to support client relationships and business development.

Role Description As a Signature crew member, the Captain is a designated Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for a dedicated Signature Account with Planet 9. Responsible for end-to-end flight operations, this role requires deep familiarity with the aircraft, client preferences, and operational rhythm of the account while operating primarily under Part 135 with light Part 91. The Captain must demonstrate elite levels of safety, service, and discretion, while fostering a consistent, trusted relationship with the aircraft owner and stakeholders. As part of a dedicated crew, the Signature Captain is expected to maintain readiness while receiving scheduled, guaranteed time off each quarter. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Serve as Pilot-in-Command for a Signature Account under Part 91 and Part 135 operations - Ensure all operations are executed in accordance with FAA regulations, international standards, and Planet 9 company policies - Lead and collaborate in comprehensive preflight planning, risk assessments, aircraft readiness, and post-flight duties with an emphasis on excellence and consistency - Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of client preferences, flight profiles, and operational requirements unique to the assigned account - Build a long-term, trusted rapport with the client by delivering personalized service and maintaining discretion and professionalism - Foster a collaborative working relationship with other crew members, inflight team, and Operations through active teamwork and communication - Demonstrate integrity in adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and compliance obligations - Participate in internal safety programs, audits, and training in alignment with Planet 9’s safety culture - Serve as a point of contact for coordination between the flight crew and Planet 9 operational teams - Ensure the aircraft is consistently presented to Planet 9 and the Signature account’s standard in terms of appearance, readiness, and onboard presentation - Adhere to Planet 9’s operational policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards by completing required training and maintaining compliance across all assigned duties - Adapt to evolving priorities by performing additional tasks or projects as needed to support team and organizational goals while aligning with the evolving needs of the Signature account Qualifications - FAA ATP Certificate - FAA First Class Medical Certificate - BD-700 – Required (Vision Differences Preferred) - Valid passport and ability to travel unrestricted internationally - Must pass DOT/FAA drug screening, TSA background check, and meet Wyvern Wingman standards - Completed COVID-19 vaccination required prior to training Requirements - Total Flight Time: 3,000 - PIC: 2,000 - Multi-Engine: 1,600 (1,400 PIC) - Turbine: 1,400 - Instrument: 250 Education and Experience Requirements - College degree preferred - 3 years Part 91 or Part 135 experience preferred - Completion and maintenance of all Planet 9 training requirements in accordance with FAA Part 135 regulations Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs - Must be able to maintain a valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate Travel Requirements - Extensive international travel required
