We're looking for a talented experienced, high-energy sales professional who understands a lead-to-close sales process and how to sell to C-Suite decision-makers effectively. What you will do… As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Payactiv, you’ll be responsible for owning and driving new business growth within mid-sized enterprise accounts. This role is ideal for a high-energy, results-driven sales professional who excels at building strategic relationships and navigating complex buying processes across multiple stakeholders, including HR and payroll, procurement, and the C-suite. You will be the face of Payactiv to prospective clients, delivering our value proposition with clarity and impact. You’ll partner closely with SDRs, sales engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive opportunities from initial outreach through contract signature. Key Responsibilities: - Drive new business acquisition in accounts with 1,000–10,000 employees within an assigned territory. - Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce and sales engagement tools. - Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and tailored presentations that align Payactiv’s value to client pain points and objectives. - Develop strategic account plans and leverage SDR support to identify, engage, and convert high-value opportunities. - Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across HR, finance, payroll, and executive leadership. - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth handoff to implementation and client success teams. - Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking within CRM and contribute to team-wide KPIs and reporting. - Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and compliance considerations to position Payactiv as a differentiated, trusted solution. What you need… - 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of success selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts (1k+ employees). - Experience selling SaaS, HR tech, or financial wellness solutions preferred. - Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and productivity tools (e.g., Salesloft, Google Workspace). - Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, engage multiple stakeholders, and close six-figure deals. - Strong organizational skills and disciplined sales execution. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and storytelling abilities. - Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving client problems and driving innovation. • Create a sales pipeline from outbound activity, tradeshows, and channel partner introductions to their clients, and manage the entire sales process from beginning to end (e.g. from "lead" to "closed won" account). • Develop, support, and maintain a sales pipeline to support ambitious growth plans for financial technology solutions for employees. • Maintain broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with prospects. • Travel to customer/prospect locations to help build relationships with customers and account teams up to the C -C-level to present product information, solution propositions, account reviews, and support as needed. • Attend industry tradeshows and thought leadership events. • Actively and successfully showcase, demo, and promote Payactiv’s financial wellness solutions and close net new business. • Work closely to support the activation and account management teams to ensure Client Success. • Build a pipeline that will support your quota and company goals. • Drive Mid-Market sales with target customers across a range of verticals. • Help develop and optimize an efficient and scalable sales process. • Train and develop successful talk tracks and messages to have meaningful conversations with decision-makers on all of Payactiv’s solutions. • Work closely with leadership to develop the overall sales strategy within your territory.

What you need... 5+ years of experience with technology or solution sales Experience selling Human Capital Management solutions and/or working in EWA and payment space highly valued Experience closing new businesses between 1K to 10K employees An entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter – will put in the work to accomplish their goals. Exceptional strategic planning and business development skills; must own and contribute at every stage of the sales lifecycle. A Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Ability to promote complex technology solutions and project manage them. A high level of demonstrated customer interface along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills. An understanding of financial technology trends and industry challenges in key industries – staffing, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. Experience with Salesforce as well as various other pipeline management and business development tools.
