• Collaborate in a product trio (product management - engineering - design) in order to understand users' needs and their use cases. • Conduct user research, both exploratory discovery work and usability testing. • Translate research insights into clear concepts. • Design high-fidelity mockups on Figma. • Iterate on ideas based on feedback from users, engineers, product and QA. • Work closely with engineers to ensure designs translate well to the realities of implementation. • Help maintain and evolve our design system by creating and documenting components and patterns. • Update and redesign existing parts of the software in need of improvements. • Balance ideal UX with technical constraints, product strategy, and delivery timelines. • Contribute ideas that help improve the overall experience of OpenProject.

• Handle all customer queries in a friendly and efficient manner • Ensure user satisfaction by tailoring solutions to individual needs • Monitor and address community questions and interact with the OpenProject community • Provide feedback to product, marketing, and sales teams based on customer interactions • Provide online training and demos to users

• Develop frontend and backend features and improvements to OpenProject in a secure, well-tested, and performant way • Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment • Maintain and advocate for standards through code review • Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance • Fix prioritized bugs listed in the bug backlog • Solve challenging technical problems of high complexity • Recognize impediments to efficiency as a team, propose and implement solutions

• Develop frontend and backend features and improvements for OpenProject in a secure, well-tested, and high-performing manner. • Produce code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a highly scalable web environment. • Propose improvements to product quality, security, and performance where necessary. • Fix prioritized bugs from the bug backlog.

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients, with a focus on French-speaking customers by identifying and tailoring solutions to their individual needs, making sure they receive a timely response and suggesting best practices to them • Conduct demo sessions for OpenProject prospects (in person and remote) and clients based on customer needs • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs • Lead and accomplish Proof of Concepts to successfully introduce OpenProject at large organisations, managing stakeholder interactions, providing training and consulting support, conducting use case analysis, identifying product gaps and handing them over to the product teams to further shape the product together based on users’ needs • Lead clients on their migration journey from Jira to OpenProject, translating their use cases to OpenProject and guiding them on their journey of change • Represent our team at conferences, connecting with clients and partners and presenting OpenProject, delivering talks, taking part in podcasts or other French interviews • Collaborate with our partners to deliver the best solutions for new customers • Work hands-on where needed, while also thinking systemically about how your work fits into the bigger picture • Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote-first environment, adapting your message to different audiences and contexts • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Customer Support, Product, Engineering and Marketing to ensure shared understanding and coordinated execution • Bring in your own approaches, insights, and lessons learned from previous roles and experiences.
