Role Description Omron Automation-Americas is looking for a disciplined and proven leader to direct a comprehensive team across the Americas to implement our corporate strategy to maximize sales and increase market share. This individual is accountable for overall performance of the Omron Advanced Services Sales measured by sales revenue goals. This candidate can be located in any major North American city near an airport. - Properly guide, manage, and motivate a diverse team focused on the success of the Omron Safety Services Portfolio. - P&L management including sales revenue, SG&A, sales forecast, and profit accountability. - Coordinate efforts with team to develop and implement a sales plan for individual regions that aligns with the overall company target markets and the best opportunities. - Conduct regular funnel reviews with sales management utilizing Salesforce CRM tools to accurately forecast short and long-term sales results. - Use CRM to drive and execute a foundational disciplined sales process. - Provide top level review of account selections and planning to ensure alignment with corporate strategies. - Intimately understand how Advanced Services resources and partners are being deployed across regions to ensure effective use of their time to maximize growth opportunities at strategic customers. - Work very closely with Services delivery teams (PMO Mgr, Consultants Mgr, Partners) to manage existing opportunities, maximize utilization of resources, and effectively drive successful execution of deliverables. - Consistent communication with peer level Sales management of Regional, Strategic, and Channel Teams to guarantee collaboration and cooperation of field sales resources to grow market share in target industries. - Work together with Omron Automation Sales Teams to create collaboration strategy to drive lead generation and services execution at existing Omron Automation customers (G10K). - Work closely with Marketing and Sales management to discuss strategic customer and industry needs to accelerate promotion of service solutions to address industry trends and put Omron in a position to capture market share. - Establish and sustain strong relationships with top tier partners throughout North America for sales and delivery of Omron services. - Work with Management team and ensure accountability for continued performance improvement of sales teams around corporate objectives and strategy. - Represent Omron in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner. - Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, customers, distributors, and colleagues. Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or two (2) year Technical School Degree with equivalent years of technical or military experience. - Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated relevant sales experience with OEM and End User customers. Previous experience of selling services products is highly desired. Requirements - A proven track record (5+ years) of business development and closing orders by working with various levels of an organization from project engineers to manufacturing management to Operations Managers and Executives. - Experience and proficiency using a CRM and other standard PC-based applications. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Salesforce CRM are highly desired. - Ability to display leadership characteristics and able to motivate other individuals. - Ability to share detailed technical information in an easy to understand manner, working in a consultative manner with customers. - Energetic, passionate, focused, and a highly motivated self-starter. - Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win. - Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with strong organizational skills. - Team player mentality but able to work independently as required. - Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, and communication skills (written and oral).
