Role Description Reporting to the C&I A Americas International Marketing & Sales Director, we are looking for a result-driven National Sales Manager to lead Canada sales team by developing strategic sales plans, managing the regional team, and building strong client relationships to achieve sales targets and market expansion. This role ensures sales team performance through coaching, training, goal-setting, and data-driven analysis, while collaborating with marketing, product, and research teams to meet customer needs and expand market share. This role is fully remote; however, candidates based in Ontario or Quebec are preferred due to business needs and team collaboration. - Drive sustainable sales growth across the Canadian market. - Develop and execute national sales plans by setting quotas, assigning territories, and leveraging historical performance data to maximize revenue, market penetration, and customer acquisition. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to expand the target customer base and grow regional market share. - Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate territory sales representatives by providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused, and motivated sales team. - Motivate and guide the team by setting clear individual and team objectives, monitoring progress, and recognizing achievements to ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. - Collaborate closely with marketing by integrating lead generation campaigns and promotional initiatives to support sales growth and enhance customer engagement. - Partner with product and research teams by communicating customer requirements and market insights to ensure product offerings meet client needs and support strategic planning. - Provide accurate sales forecasts by analyzing team performance and market conditions to inform production planning, resource allocation, and executive decision-making. - Monitor team performance by tracking KPIs, reviewing results, and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of sales objectives. - Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial standards, and regional regulations by enforcing governance and ethical sales practices to mitigate risk and maintain organizational integrity. - Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events by engaging with clients and stakeholders to strengthen relationships, showcase offerings, and enhance brand visibility. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field required; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. - Minimum 10+ years of sales experience in motors or related industry, with at least 5 years leading a high-performance sales team. - Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and growing market share. - Experience in planning and executing regional sales strategies. - Bilingual (French and English) is an asset. Responsibilities: - Determine and audit Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B classifications - Assists in conducting import compliance audits and review and implement corrective actions - Assist in developing, preparing, and providing periodic metrics and KPI reports for import and export operations - Analyze data from ACE reports for errors and anomalies. - Assist Accounting with gathering import duty costs, estimating import duty surcharges for customer invoicing, import duty cost analysis, and other tasks as necessary. - Respond to broker and forwarder requests for information to support imports and exports. - Conduct post-entry audits to verify compliance of import transactions, ensuring accurate declarations, identifying discrepancies and preparing corrective actions if necessary. - Analyze and verify product eligibility for USMCA; prepare and maintain documentation for USMCA certification and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of USMCA rules of origin. - Implement best practices to drive productivity and streamline opportunities. - Maintain accurate and organized records of all trade compliance activities and documentation. - Provide support related to country-of-origin determination. - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in related field required. - 3-5 years of experience - Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail - Proficient in MS Office Suite.
