Role Description We’re hiring a Customer Value Manager to own the full customer lifecycle for a portfolio of retail clients—from onboarding through adoption, value realization, and renewal readiness. You will act as the main operational contact, ensuring customers successfully adopt the platform, achieve measurable impact, and are fully prepared for renewals. You’ll also lead onboarding as a functional project manager before transitioning accounts into steady-state success management. Role Description We are seeking a Data Scientist with experience to join our Data Science team. This new team member will play a crucial role in developing data science solutions from conception to implementation as we continue to enhance the world of retail and make it more sustainable. At Nextail, we empower retailers to create better experiences while using fewer of the world's resources by selling more with less inventory. Nextail’s cloud-based platform uses artificial intelligence, prescriptive analytics, and optimization to deliver agile merchandising decisions. To date, we are working with global retailers like River Island, Guess, Flying Tiger, or Pepe Jeans. Key Responsibilities - Developing Solutions: Contributing to the development of data science solutions from idea to maturity, with a main focus on demand forecasting and optimization models. - Collaborating: Working closely with product managers, developers, data engineers, and business experts to solve end-to-end problems. - Applying Techniques: Utilizing data science techniques including ML, SQL, optimization, simulation, and visualization to address business challenges. - Learning and Growing: Embracing a culture of continuous learning and growth, staying up-to-date with the latest methodologies and best practices in data science. - Analyzing and Communicating: Analyzing and understanding complex data, extracting insights, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. - Supporting Operations: Monitoring models in production, measuring their impact on the business, and iterating to improve performance over time. Qualifications - Experience: At least 3-4 years of experience working as a data scientist, or in a related field. - Education: Background in computer science or a related field. - Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages, Python is a must. Role Description You will be the core operator of Finance at Nextail, owning the full monthly close cycle, forecasting, and the day-to-day financial operations of the company. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and leadership. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is rigorous, proactive, and comfortable navigating both operational detail and strategic context. - Monthly close & forecasting — Own the end-to-end monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Maintain and update rolling forecasts. - Financial reporting & audit — Prepare internal and external financial reports, support the annual accounts process, and act as point of contact for auditors. - Accounting & bookkeeping — Record and review accounting entries in Holded, maintain the general ledger, and ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC). - Client billing & collections — Manage the full invoice-to-cash cycle. - Treasury & cash flow — Monitor treasury positions, prepare cash flow forecasts. - Ad hoc finance support — Contribute to contract reviews, commission calculations, KYB processes, and strategic finance projects as the business evolves.
