NJR Clean Energy Ventures (CEV), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support CEV in the delivery of successful solar development and construction projects by providing expertise in cost management, schedule control, risk management, reporting, and performance analysis. Works closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance partners to support compliance requirements, maintain project systems, and track materials and inventory-helping ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and on schedule. Major Responsibilities:• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance against approved baselines.• Track commitments, expenditures, variances, and change orders across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases.• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for project teams and senior management.• Ensure project financials align with corporate accounting standards and reporting requirements.• Identify cost and schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.• Support scenario planning related to delays, scope changes, or budget impacts and contributes to project risk identification, quantification, and mitigation planning.• Maintain project dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).• Ensure project data and document accuracy of the internal project database.• Support compliance with project controls processes, audits, and regulatory requirements.• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, construction, procurement, and finance teams to ensure transparent data flow.• Support project kickoffs, status meetings, and ad-hoc reviews.• Ensure continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to project controls processes, internal project tracker software, tools, and methodologies. Position Requirements:• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Math, Finance, or related field plus 3 years of related project controls experience; or a combination of education and experience, including 10+ years of progressive project controls experience, may be considered in lieu of a degree.• Solar, renewable energy, construction, or utility industry experience preferred.• Experience supporting commercial solar EPC projects preferred.• Advanced proficiency in project controls methodologies including Critical Path Method scheduling, dependency and logic management, cost estimating and forecasting, earned value management, variance and risk analysis, change control, and data-driven reporting using tools.• Advanced proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).• Strong Excel and data analytics skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools a plus.• Expert competency in schedule and cost control.• Familiarity with solar project lifecycles, permitting requirements, procurement processes, and construction workflows is a strong advantage.• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.• Collaborative attitude with a proactive problem solving approach.• Up to 20% travel to site locations.* The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary. Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $102,000- $137,500.Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge. New Jersey Resources is seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst to provide support for the Company's external reporting requirements, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, researching applicable SEC regulations and assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Oversee the preparation of the employee benefit plan reports and related audit; provide support on other financial reporting and technical accounting functions as necessary. Major Responsibilities• Prepare Form 10-Q and 10-K footnote disclosures and supporting documentation.• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.• Leverage analytics to support management discussion and analysis in SEC filings and draft related commentary.• Train users on the external reporting software and assist in transitioning accounting and finance spreadsheets from Excel.• Manage the external reporting software data collection process, including validating data for completeness, accuracy and consistency across reports• Prepare and maintain quarterly reporting calendar to support timely SEC reporting.• Manage timeline and coordinate deliverables from key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of SEC filings.• Review and analyze financial information and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy and alignment with various financial reports.• Maintain Financial Reporting SOX documentation and support to ensure compliance.• Assist with XBRL mapping and maintenance.• Assist with other regulatory reporting and associated audits.• Perform research and benchmarking of Company disclosures and XBRL to other SEC financial filings.• Prepare and review employee benefit plan financial statements and assist with audit process.• Assist with research, implementation and analysis of effects of new authoritative accounting guidance or SEC compliance initiatives.• Liaison with Treasury on bank compliance reporting, including preparation of covenant financial ratio calculations.• Coordinate with Corporate Communications on earnings press releases and annual report to shareholders.• Participate in special projects to support the technical requirements and process improvements, as needed. • Partner with Treasury to provide finance and accounting support for various transactions and debt offerings as necessary. Position Requirements:• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
