Role Description As an Area Sales Manager, you will drive the adoption of NeuroStar TMS Therapy among psychiatrists and behavioral health providers within your territory. You will play a pivotal role in increasing access to life‑changing technology by educating clinicians, differentiating our product in the marketplace, and shifting the paradigm of how major depressive disorder is treated. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong track record in capital medical device sales, particularly in outpatient or office‑based environments. Key Responsibilities - Sales Growth & Territory Expansion - Achieve sales goals and quotas for NeuroStar capital systems. - Identify, pursue, and develop new NeuroStar providers within your territory. - Strategically target behavioral health centers, large in‑network practices, and psychiatric hospitals in collaboration with Strategic Account Managers. - Clinical & Product Education - Deliver compelling presentations on clinical trial data, patient outcomes, and device features. - Influence physicians and staff through consultative selling and strong product differentiation. - Relationship Development - Build and maintain partnerships with thought leaders and key opinion leaders in behavioral health. - Provide post‑sale support in partnership with the Practice Development Manager, including practice optimization, reimbursement education, follow‑up training, and patient engagement resources. - Internal Collaboration - Share field insights and recommendations with corporate teams to shape marketing, sales strategy, and future product direction. - Participate in and excel within the Neuronetics Sales Training Program. - Additional Duties - Execute additional responsibilities as assigned to drive business performance and customer success. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Business, or related field. - Minimum 2+ years B2B sales experience. - At least 5–7 years of successful capital medical device sales experience in a clinical or office‑based setting. - Proven history as a top performer (top 10% preferred). - Residence within or near the assigned territory (Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston or Austin). - Valid driver’s license. - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. As an Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will provide an office-based, outpatient treatment option to psychiatrists and other mental health providers for the treatment of major depressive disorder. Preferred Skills - Previous experience selling disruptive new technology in hospitals and/or large office environments. - Knowledge of selling a system that contains capital equipment with a disposable component. - Experience working in the Neuroscience and/or Psychiatry space. - Contract negotiation on product offering.
