Role Description The Senior AI Engineer owns Lena's reasoning layer end-to-end: retrieval, grounding, evaluation, and the boundary between AI suggestions and governed actions. - Designing and improving RAG pipelines for grounding Lena's diagnostic reasoning in structured operational telemetry, device state, and product documentation. - Building evaluation harnesses that measure groundedness, hallucination, refusal calibration, and action accuracy on every release. - Setting the boundary between Lena's probabilistic reasoning and the platform's deterministic action layer — what she's allowed to do, when, and under what audit. - Owning AI cost and latency budgets per workflow. - Partnering with backend (.NET) and platform engineers to land changes safely. Qualifications - 5+ years of ML / applied AI engineering experience. - Experience building and shipping production LLM systems (RAG, agents, structured outputs, evaluations) at a B2B SaaS company. - Ownership of a production RAG system end-to-end. - Experience building evaluation pipelines that ran on every release and caught real regressions. - Experience working at a growth-stage AI-native SaaS company where AI was the primary product. Role Description The Full Stack Engineer ships features end-to-end across the .NET backbone, the React surfaces, and the operator workflows on top of Lena. You'll move across the stack daily. - Designing and shipping .NET 6+ backend services that mediate between AI reasoning, device adapters, and operator surfaces. - Building React surfaces that present Lena's signal — including uncertainty shape, not just confidence numbers. - Owning the REST API design between backend and frontend (and Lena's Python services). - Driving operator UX decisions in partnership with product, with attention to the workflows operators run dozens of times a day. Qualifications - 5+ years of .NET / C# backend experience, with hands-on production work in .NET 6 or newer. - 3+ years of React (or comparable modern framework) experience. - Shipped end-to-end features that touched both backend and frontend in the same project. - Designed and shipped production REST APIs in a distributed SaaS environment. - Hands-on production experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Role Description The QA / DevOps Engineer owns platform quality, release reliability, and the AI-assisted engineering workflows our team uses to ship safely. - Owning CI/CD pipelines that gate releases against the AI failure modes that matter (eval regressions, groundedness drift, performance regressions). - Building observability around AI behavior in production — beyond standard infra metrics. - Designing test strategies for workflows that interact with physical hardware (simulator-first, hardware-on-demand). - Driving AI-assisted engineering practice: tooling, prompt review, and evaluation of AI code suggestions. Qualifications - 3+ years of combined QA and DevOps experience. - Owned a CI/CD pipeline end-to-end in production. - Hands-on production experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. - Use AI-assisted engineering tools day-to-day (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar). - Familiar with at least one observability stack (Elastic, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or similar). - API testing experience (Postman, REST-assured, or custom tooling).
