• Operational Stability & Reliability: Own the health and performance of our hybrid (AWS/On-prem) estate. • Infrastructure Maturation: Lead the effort to document our environment—creating the architecture diagrams and runbooks necessary to eliminate single points of failure. • Pragmatic Kubernetes Management: Operate and improve our existing production Kubernetes clusters. • Technical Authority & Peer Leadership: Serve as a senior technical sounding board and mentor. • Developer Enablement: Partner with development teams to provide the automation, standards, and guardrails that allow them to own their own deployments safely. • Sustainable On-Call: Participate in a sustainable on-call rotation. • Security & Compliance Support: Own the operational application of ISO 27001 controls within your remit.

• Test Planning: Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications; Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover various scenarios and functionalities. • Manual Testing: Execute test cases and document test results, including defect tracking and reporting; Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing features; Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by test cases. • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, report, and prioritize software defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in resolving issues. • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure quality standards are met.

• Build, operate, and evolve all AWS environments (production and non-production), ensuring they meet availability, performance, and recovery requirements. • Own the security posture of the AWS environment. Design and enforce secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation (VPC), and ingress/egress controls. • Participate in an on-call as a primary AWS responder. You will drive technical triage and hands-on remediation for P1/P2 incidents, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout. • Define SLIs/SLOs to measure service health. Proactively identify reliability risks and reduce operational toil through automation and self-healing infrastructure. • Provide hands-on support for ISO 27001 audits. You will manage technical documentation, maintain audit evidence, and ensure operational practices align with security control areas. • Maintain and secure our CI/CD pipelines and own the standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure all changes are controlled and auditable.

• Platform Architecture: Design and provision AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, Databases) using Terraform. • Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage Amazon EKS and AWS Fargate environments. • CI/CD Leadership: Implement automated pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD. • Observability: Set up a unified stack (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) for deep visibility. • Security & Compliance: Enforce IAM, RBAC, and Kubernetes Network Policies, managing secrets via AWS Secrets Manager. • Developer Experience: Enable self-service with automated preview environments and standardized templates.
